International Achievement Postgraduate Scholarships for students from India (UK)

SHU International Achievement Scholarships are available for students starting their studies in the 2008/09 academic year.They aim to encourage highly qualified graduates from all over the world to follow a full-time Postgraduate taught programme at Sheffield Hallam University.

The Scholarships Panel will consider the quality of the personal statement alongside academic achievement when allocating scholarships.  The decision of the Panel is final.

• Application for the International Achievement Scholarship should be sent with or following your application for a Postgraduate course at Sheffield Hallam University. 
• For Semester 1 entry (courses starting in September or October 2008), please send by 30 June 2008 for Semester 2 entry (courses starting in January or February 2009) please send by 30 November 2008.

To be eligible to apply for a postgraduate scholarship Candidate  must:

• be classed as an international student for fees purpose
• have a good undergraduate degree
• have, or expect to achieve, a minimum of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent*
• be able to evidence achievement in your personal statement
• Please note that IELTS 6.0 or equivalent is the minimum English language requirement to be eligible for the International Achievement Scholarship and that the English language requirement for entry onto some of our undergraduate and postgraduate courses may be higher.
