Postgraduate Scholarships From University of Gloucestershire (UK)

University of Gloucestershire offers Postgraduate Scholarships for Postgraduate students commencing a Taught Masters course in September 2008.

• Applicants must be a National of the Country listed and must be paying the “overseas” rate for tuition fees
• Applicants must complete a scholarship application form
• Applications must be received by 30 June 2008

By the deadline of 30 June 2008, all applicants must meet the following conditions:

• Have applied for and been accepted onto a course at Gloucestershire to begin in September 2008.
• Have firmly accepted their offer from Gloucestershire.
• Have met all academic conditions of their offer, including English language requirements.
• The Panel’s decisions will be finalised in July 2008
• At the point of acceptance, the applicant must have paid their non-refundable deposit of £1,000 to secure their place at Gloucestershire.
  

Applications will be considered by a Scholarships Award Panel who will select their preferred candidate(s) on the basis of their overall application. Awards are merit based. The panel may consider the following aspects:

• Academic performance
• English Language
• Merit of the personal statement
• Contribution to society - prior to and following study in the UK
• Any other experience which is presented in the application and deemed appropriate
