    Shortlisting Criteria

    For shortlisting the candidates for PGP-ABM admissions, 70% weightage will be given to the scores of CAT and 30% weightage to the Application Rating Score. Since the programme is sector-specific and prefers candidates with relevant educational background, the candidates with bachelor’s or master’s degree in agricultural sciences or agriculture-related disciplines will be preferred while short-listing for group discussion and personal interview.

  • Selection Procedure

    The basic entrance exam for standing a chance to get admission in IIM Ahemedabad is CAT and GMAT. The selection  process of candidates for admission to the 2013-15 batch of the PGP-ABM at IIM Ahmedabad includes two steps: CAT/GMAT: Securing the required cut off in CAT 2012 is essential for a student to receive a call from IIMA. Students getting a call from IIMA have to participate in the Group Discussion and Personal Interview held at the campus.
    Personal Interview/Group Discussion: Performance of the students in the GD and PI ultimately influence his/her final selection
  • Scholarship and Financial Aid

    • A Special Need Based Scholarship Scheme is provided by IIMA from its own funds to help financially weak PGP & PGP-ABM students. Every year a number of students avail this opportunity. The scholarship amount is decided on the basis of annual gross family income, parental asset ownership, number of dependants etc. Application for these scholarships can be made in July
    • The Government of India Merit-Cum-Means scholarship is also available, for the meritorious students. Several Industry sponsored merit scholarships are awarded at the end of each academic year
    • Many commercial banks and financial institutions provide educational loans to students. For details, candidates may contact branch offices of such banks
