    Eligibility

    Eligibility details for the International students:

    • A degree in Arts Management, Arts or equivalent from a recognised institution
    • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in a related field or at least 4 years of working experience in a non-related field
    • A satisfactory score in written and spoken English OR a minimum of IELTS 7.0 or TOEFL iBT 100

    Institute Description

    Lasalle College of the Arts was Founded in 1984 by De La Salle educator, Brother Joseph McNally, LASALLE College of the Arts is a specialist tertiary institution leading contemporary arts education in fine art, design, media and performing arts in the Asia Pacific.

    Institute hero graduates and accomplished faculty staff include established artists at the Venice Biennale, acclaimed designers recognised by the British D&AD and red dot, respected curators, writers, musicians, dance and theatre pioneers, and countless practitioners from the creative industries in Singapore and beyond.

    College is a non-profit, private educational institution, operating autonomously with financial support from Singapore’s Ministry of Education (MOE). 2,500 strong student body comprises 40 percent international students.

    Hostel Details

    Housing facilities at the campus includes:
    • Spacious Single bedrooms are available at Lasalle Residences furnished with air-conditioner, single beds, mattresses, study desks, chairs, wardrobes and bookshelves
    • An open-concept suite with an exclusive living and dining area and a small kitchenette with a fridge, stove and microwave oven, fully air-conditioned with an attached bathroom

    Book a bed in student hostels

    From 380 SGD for a quad sharing room to 550 SGD for a double or triple-sharing room. Some hostels may have single rooms at a premium.

    Rent a HDB flat (alone or with flatmates)

    From 1,500 SGD for a "3- or 4-room HDB flat (i.e. 1-2 bedrooms) in the city and from 1,200 SGD for flats on the outskirts of the city.

    Rent a room in a HDB flat

    From 450 SGD if you live with the owner/family. From 500 SGD if you live with other singles. HDB room rentals in the city start from 700 SGD.

    Rent a private apartment (alone or with flatmates)

    From 1,800 SGD-2,500 SGD for a 2- or 3-bedroom apartment; facilities may include a swimming pool and tennis courts. Apartment rentals in the city start from 2,000 SGD.
