Architecture Courses Eligibility Criteria

Architecture courses can be pursued at UG, PG and PhD levels. The eligibility criteria differs as per the course selected by the candidate. However, given below is a broad eligibility criteria for UG and PG Architecture courses for the reference of candidates:

  • UG level: Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects and secured at least 50% aggregate score. Candidates who have completed a 10+3 year Diploma in any stream are also eligible to apply for BArch programme. The course is of five years duration.

  • PG level: Candidates must have passed BArch with at least 50% aggregate score. The course is of two years duration.

  • PhD level: Candidate must have passed M.Arch from a recognised university with minimum 55% (50% for SC/ST/OBC category. The minimum course duration is three years and maximum is six years.

Career Scope for Architecture Students
