All About BSEB Board: Exam Date, Result, Admit Card (Out), Syllabus & Question Paper

BSEB 10th, 12th time table 2021 have been released by the State Board. Students can check the detailed exam schedule, exam timings and other important details here.

The BSEB conducts Secondary (Class 10) and Senior Secondary (Class 12) Board examinations in both government and private schools of Bihar. The exams are generally conducted in the month of February/March every year. The board also conducts Supplementary School Examinations in the month of May on the basis of course/syllabus announced by the State Government.

The Bihar Board has released the BSEB Time Table 2021 for classes 10 and 12 on its its official website. The Bihar Board Time Table 2021 was released on October 7, 2020.

As per the released time table, the BSEB 10th examinations are scheduled from February 17 to 24, 2021, while for Class 12, the examinations will take place from February 2 to 13, 2021.

The Bihar Board has also released the BSEB 10th Admit Card 2021 on its official website on January 10, 2021.

Apart from the regular annual examinations, BSEB also holds departmental examinations like Diploma in Physical Education, Certificate in Physical Education and Teachers Training Examination (TET) at the state level. The terms and conditions for these exams, which are not conducted yearly, are laid down by the State Government. More than 6,000 schools in Bihar are currently affiliated to BSEB, the current Chairman of which is Shri Anand Kishor, IAS. Pramod Kumar is the Secretary.

BSEB 10th, 12^th exams 2021: Important Dates

BSEB 10^th exams will be conducted from February 17 to 24, 2021, as per the Bihar Board 10^th Timetable 2021. The Bihar Board Class 12 examinations will be held from February 2 to 13, 2021, according to the Bihar Board 12^th Timetable 2021.

The exams will be held in two sittings. They are as follows:

• First sitting: 9:30 am to 12:45 pm
• Second sitting: 1:45 pm to 5:00 pm

Students will be given a total of 3 hours 15 minutes to write their exam and an extra 15 minutes to read the question paper.

BSEB Admit Card 2021

The BSEB will release the BSEB 10^th, 12^th admit card 2021 for the students on its official website in January 2021. Students will be able to download their BSEB 10^th admit card 2021 as well as BSEB 12^th admit card 2021 using their login details (user name and password). Before releasing the final admit cards, the Bihar Board will be releasing dummy admit cards. The purpose of publishing the dummy admit cards is for the students to check their details on the BSEB Admit Card 2021 and report to the authorities in case of errors.

BSEB Syllabus 2021

The Bihar Board releases the syllabus for classes 10 and 12 on its website. Students must to through the entire BSEB Syllabus to know all the important topics they need to cover to ace the examinations. Students can divide the syllabus into parts as per their convenience and study accordingly. Below we have provided the BSEB Syllabus 2021  for classes 10 and 12.

BSEB 10^th Syllabus

The BSEB Class 10 Syllabus is vast but can be covered easily if students are thorough with their basics. Topics in English include Prepositions, Tenses, Nouns, Vocabulary, Writing and Verbs among many others. This is aimed to improve the speaking and writing skills of students. Topics in Mathematics are Arithmetic Progressions, Trigonometry, Coordinate Geometry, Quadratic Equations, Surface Areas and Volumes, Probability, Statistics, etc. Physics has Electricity, Magnetic Effects of Electric Current, Sources of Energy, Human Eye and Colourful World, Light, Reflection and Refraction, as the main topics while Chemistry includes Acids, Bases and Salts, Metals and Non-Metals, Periodic Classification of Elements, Chemical Reactions and Equations, and Carbon and its Compounds, etc. For Biology, one must study management of Natural Resources, Life Processes, Heredity and Evolution, Control and Coordination, Reproduction and Environment. Students must check the complete BSEB 10^th Syllabus 2021 and prepare accordingly.

BSEB 12^th Syllabus

The Bihar Board releases the Bihar Board Intermediate Syllabus for all the three stream- Science, Arts and Commerce, on its official website. Along with the Bihar Board 12^th Syllabus 2021, students must also go through the marking scheme by going through the Bihar Board 12^th Exam Pattern. The Bihar board Class 12 Syllabus comprises in-depth information about the important topics which need to be covered while preparing for the BSEB Class 12 exams.S are also advised to prepare a time table in compliance with the Bihar Board 12^th Syllabus and prepare accordingly. Students must check the complete Bihar Board 12^th Syllabus and chalk out the preparation strategy.

BSEB Exam Pattern

Bihar Board releases the BSEB Exam Pattern on its official website. Students are advised to check the Bihar Board Exam Pattern 2021 to know the marking scheme and the type of questions that are generally asked in the examinations. As per the Bihar Board 10^th Exam Pattern 2021, the BSEB 10^th exams have 50% objective-type questions, carrying 1 mark each. Subjects having practicals have 40 objective type questions, while the subjects that do not have practical exams carry 50 objective type questions. For Bihar Board Class 12 students, subjects having both theory and practicals will only have 35 MCQ in the theory paper, according to the Bihar Board 12^th Exam Pattern 2021. Students preparing for the 10^th and 12^th examinations must also be thorough with the Bihar Board Syllabus.

BSEB Sample papers 

The Bihar Board releases the BSEB question papers/model papers for the students to be able to practise them and get good marks in the examinations. Students must practise as many sample papers as they can as sample papers provide an insight into the pattern of the question paper. It also paves way for the student to know the expected questions in the Bihar Board examinations. Class 10 students must download the Bihar Board 10^th sample papers 2021 and practise them within a limited timeframe. For Bihar Board Class 12 students, they must download the Bihar Board 12^th sample papers 2021 and practise them to improve speed and accuracy. Solving the sample papers would also help the students in assessing their strengths and weaknesses.

BSEB Preparation

The Bihar Board examinations need a proper preparation strategy as the syllabus is very vast. Students must go through the entire syllabus and divide it into parts, as per their convenience. Dividing the Bihar Board 10^th, 12^th Syllabus into parts would help them in studying in an organised way and they would be able to prioritise the topics as per their strong and weak areas. They must also go through the Bihar Board Exam Pattern to know the marking scheme as well as the type of questions that are generally asked in the examinations. Knowing the exam pattern would help them in chalking out their study schedule as then they can focus on the topics having more weightage. For Bihar Board Class 10 Preparations, students must also focus more on making notes and studying from them. They must also keep a formula sheet handy to revise from on a daily basis. BSEB Result 2021

The Bihar Board will announce the BSEB Result for Class 12 and 10 in March and April, respectively. Students will be able to check their Bihar Board Result using their login details such as username and password. While the Bihar Board 12^th Result 2021 will be declared in the last week of March for all the three streams- Science, Commerce and Arts, Bihar Board 10^th Result 2021 will be released in the first week of April 2021, tentatively.

A total of 14,94,071 students appeared for the class 10th examinations this year, of which 72,92,13 were boys and 76,48,58 were girls. Of these, 2,38,093 boys and 1,65,299 girls attained first division while 2,57,807 boys and 2,66,410 girls attained second division.
