All about HBSE Board: Exams, Syllabus, Date Sheet, Question Paper & Admit Card
Haryana Board is likely to conduct HBSE 10th, 12th exams 2021 from April 20 till May 31. Know the important dates, syllabus, pattern, prep tips, and more here.
The Board of School Education Haryana, Bhiwani came into existence in 1969 under the Haryana Act No. 11. Earlier, the Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) had its headquarters in Chandigarh and later shifted to Bhiwani in the year 1981. BSEH conducts exams annually at the middle, matric, and senior secondary school level.
According to sources, around 3,672 schools are affiliated with HBSE. Around 6 Lakh students sit for the exams conducted by the board. A total of 3,37,691 students of Class 10th and over 2,25,000 Class 12th students appeared for the board exams in 2020. HBSE employs more than 650 officials and the chairman of the board is Dr Jagbir Singh.
Haryana Board will release the HBSE date sheet on the official website in February 2021 and the hall tickets will be issued to students in March 2021. Students will be required to collect the admit cards from their schools respectively. The examinations will likely be conducted between April 20 and May 31.

The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) will conduct the HBSE State Board Examinations 2021 for classes 10th and 12th from April 20 till May 31. HBSE Result 2021 shall be released in the first week of July on the official website.
Last year, HBSE class 10th examinations were scheduled between March 4 and March 27, while the HBSE 12th examinations were to be held between March 3 and 31. Due to coronavirus outbreak, papers scheduled after March 20 had to be cancelled. The HBSE 10th Result was released on July 10 on the basis of four key subjects. BSEH released the HBSE 12th Result on July 21 at 5 pm via press conference.
Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic followed by lockdowns, the HBSE 10th Exam 2020 were interrupted and Science exam could not be held. The exam was postponed until recently when the Punjab and Haryana High Court stayed the Haryana Board of School Education decided to hold the science examination for students who wish to opt for Science subjects in the next class. The final verdict on this is yet to be taken by the court. Owing to this, the board decided to declare the Haryana 10th Result 2020 only on the basis of marks of Four Key Subjects.

HBSE Date Sheet 2021
HBSE will release the HBSE date sheet 2021 for classes 10th, 12th on the official website in February 2021. The HBSE 10th, 12th exams will likely be scheduled between April 20 and May 31. Students must visit the official website of the Board or check the HBSE date sheets by clicking on the links provided below. The students must chalk out their preparation strategy according to the schedule.
HBSE 10th Date Sheet
The HBSE 10th date sheet shall be released by the Board in February. Students can click on the link provided to stay updated. The exams will be scheduled between April 20 and May 31, 2021, tentatively.
In 2020, The BSEH class 10th exams started on March 4 and were to end on March 27, 2020. But the examinations scheduled after March 19 were postponed due to COVID-19 spread across the country. These were to be conducted between July 1 and July 15 but were ultimately cancelled.
HBSE 12th Date Sheet
Haryana Board will release the HBSE 12th date sheet 2021 in February. The exams are likely to be conducted between April 20 and May 31. The HBSE 12th examinations are conducted across different examination centres from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm. Students can check the complete HBSE 12th date sheet 2021 here.
Last year, HBSE 12th board exams had commenced from March 3 and were to conclude on n March 31. The first exam for the class 12th students was Hindi while the last exam was Retail, Security, Automobile.
HBSE Exam Pattern 2021
HBSE 10th, 12th exams are conducted for a duration of 3 hours and the total marks a student can score is 100. HBSE Syllabus 2021
The HBSE syllabus includes all the topics and chapters that are to be prepared while studying for the examinations. The HBSE syllabus for 10th, and HBSE 12th syllabus states all the topics covered in the different subjects in 10th and 12th classes respectively. The HBSE class 10th syllabus includes subjects like English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science and Social science while class 12th subjects are divided into three streams namely Science, Arts and Commerce. This year, the Board has reduced the HBSE syllabus for 10th and 12th classes owing to COVID19 pandemic.
HBSE Admit Card 2021
BSEH releases the HBSE 10th admit card and HBSE 12th admit card on its official website for schools to download and hand them over to students. Students must remember to carry this admit card on all exam days as otherwise they will not be allowed to write the exams. The HBSE admit card mentions the student's name, roll number, exam dates, exam centre, and more.
HBSE Result 2021
BSEH will release the HBSE 10th Result 2021 and HBSE 12th Result 20201 in the first week of July on the official website. Students can check their results of HBSE using roll number as mentioned on the admit card. The result mentions the marks scored by students in all the subjects and their grades.
Last year, the announcement of the results was delayed due to COVID19 pandemic. The HBSE 10th result was announced on July 10 and HBSE 12th result on July 21.
