Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) conducts the examinations for CG Board classes 10 and 12 every year in the month of March. Formerly known as Chhattisgarh Government School Education Department, Chhattisgarh Board Secondary Education abbreviated as CGBSE is a state-level examination board. The board is the state agency for the Government of Chhattisgarh which was constituted for the development and promotion of secondary education within the state.
The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has been functioning since 2001. However, the CGBSE conducted its first board examination in the year 2002. If the stats are to be believed, more than 8 lakh students register to appear for the CGBSE Board examinations, every year. The Board sets the syllabus, exam pattern, and exam dates for both Classes 10th and 12th board exams. Each theoretical paper is conducted for 100 marks with 75 marks for theory and 25 marks for the project. CG Board 10th practical exams are held in February.
Chhattisgarh Board has declared CGBSE 10th result 2022 and CGBSE 12th result 2022 on May 14, 2022. Students can check their result on the official website of the board at at cgbse.nic.in or results.cgbse.nic.in. This year, the CG Board has released the CGBSE 10th, 12th time table 2022 on December 29, 2021, and the exams were held in March 2022 in pen and paper mode. CG Board has conducted the CGBSE 10th exams 2022 between March 3 and 23, 2022, while CGBSE 12th exams 2022 were conducted from March 2 to March 30, 2022. CG Board has also released admit card for CGBSE class 10, 12 exam 2022 on February 25, 2022.
In the academic session 2020-21. the board had cancelled the CGBSE 10th exams amid the rising Covid-19 crisis. The Board released the CGBSE 10th Result 2021 on May 19 at 11 am. The board had calculated the CG 10th Result 2021 on the basis of internal assessments.

Every year, the board conducts class 10th and 12th examinations in the month of March. Going by the last year’s data, a total of 3,82,955 students registered to appear for the CGBSE X examination. However, 2,59,944 students registered to appear for the CGBSE XII examination.
