RBSE - Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (BSER)

Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education or RBSE [also known as Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (BSER)] is a board for school level education in the state of Rajasthan. Established in 1957, the board has its headquarters located in Ajmer. BL Chaudhry is the Chairman of RBSE, Ajmer.

As per the data available on the official website, a total of 25,642 schools are registered with RBSE at Secondary (Class X) level and 9,241 schools at the Senior Secondary (Class XII) level. It may be noted that the data mentioned above is as per the records of 2013-14.

RBSE BOARD EXAM DATES 2020

Rajasthan Board will release the RBSE date sheet 2020 for Class 12th and 10th in the first week of January. RBSE Class 10th, 12th board exams will be conducted in the month of March. Last year, the examinations began on March 7 and ended on April 2. On the other hand, RBSE board Class 10th exams were conducted between March 14 and March 28.

RBSE Exams: Previous Year's Statistics

• Over 20 lakh students have registered for RBSE exams scheduled in March 2019. As many as 9 lakh students registered for Class 12th and 11 lakh students registered for Class 10th exams.  
• For board exams 2019, RBSE added about 160 test centres in the state of Rajasthan. More centres were added so that students did not have to travel long distances.
• The education department had asked all private schools under the Rajasthan board to conduct RBSE board exams under CCTV vigilance. The move was taken to ensure greater transparency during the exams.

The exam duration for RBSE 12th, 10th exams is 3 hours and 15 minutes and are held from 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM.
