Import & Export Eligibility Criteria & Entrance Exams

  • For undergraduate and diploma courses, candidates must have passed 10+2 with 50% marks (40% to 45% for reserved category candidates).
  • The eligibility criteria for postgraduate courses in import & export is graduation or equivalent from a recognised university with 50% marks in aggregate.

Import & Export Entrance Exams 

Few institutes in India offers Import & Export courses in Import & Export courses. Some institutes conduct their own entrance exams to while some do not have entrance exams. Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) offers admission to full-time MBA (International Business) based on written test, essay write-up, group discussions and interviews. The institute also provides a certificate programme in export-import management. Admission to this course is offered on the basis of the candidate’s performance in a personal interview.

Indian Institute of Export and Import Management (IIEIM) also conducts an entrance exam to offer admission to candidates for its two-year masters programme in International programme The institute also offers one-year Diploma in Export-Import Management (DEIM) programme, admission to this programme is offered based on candidates’ educational qualification, work experience and academic excellence. Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning offers direct admission to candidates to its Post Graduate Diploma in Export and Import Management based on the eligibility criteria - a bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
