Q:   What is MAT exam for?
A:

MAT exam is conducted for admission to MBA and PGDM or PGP programmes offered by over 800 B-Schools in India. The exam is conducted multiple times in four phases - February, May, September and December. It is conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA). Candidates can appear for the MAT exam in any session any number of times. The score of the latest attempt will be taken into consideration for MBA Admission. 

There are three modes to MAT. Computer Based Test (CBT), Paper Based Test (PBT) and Internet Based Test (IBT). In every exam phase, MAT CBT and PBT are conducted once, and IBT is conducted 3-5 times.  

Q:   Is CUET exam date announced?
A:

National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the CUET 2025 exam date at nta.ac.in. NTA will conduct the CUET UG 2025 exam between May 13 and June 03, 2025. The exam will be conducted in multiple slots each day. NTA will conduct CUET UG 2025 exam in two slots: 9 AM to 12 PM and 3 PM to 6 PM.

CUET 2025 registrations ended at cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates willing to appear for the CUET for admission to UG courses at Central, State, Private, or Deemed universities could fill out the online application form to appear for the CUET 2025 exam. Only registered candidates can appear for the exam as per the schedule.

Q:   What is the difficulty level of MAT exam?
A:

MAT is one of the easier MBA entrance exam. The difficulty level of the exam much easier than CAT XAT or CMAT. Candidates usually prepare for CAT XAT and CMAT and use that experience to give the MAT exam. Even though the MAT has more questions than XAT CAT CMAT. It is easier because the questions of all the five sections include:

  • Mathematical Skills
  • Language Comprehension
  • Intelligence and Critical Reasoning
  • Data Analysis and Sufficiency
  • Indian and Global Environment

These are easy and straightforward. There are less Reading Comprehension passages of shorter length and are easy to comprehend. Since, the Indian and Global Environment scores are not taken into consideration for MAT percentile calculation, candidates find it easier to crack MAT in 2.5 hours with high scores.

Q:   What is the syllabus of CUET?
A:

Common University Entrance Test (CUET) result is released by National Testing Agency. CUET syllabus is divided into three sections viz., Languages, Domain Subject and General Test. CUET language section assesses candidate through reading comprehension (factual, literary, and narrative), literary aptitude and vocabulary. CUET syllabus second section- domain subject assesses the candidate's in depth knowledge on the subject he/she has opted for. CUET third section- general test includes general knowledge, current affairs, general mental ability, quantitative reasoning and logical and analytical reasoning. CUET syllabus is available now.
