Good environment, helpful peers, decent placements, and good infrastructure.
Placements: Most students, around 85–90%, are still getting placed in the current scenario. The highest package is around 53 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Companies like Mastercard, UBS, ZS, and many others visit for placements. A good number of students, around 40–50%, get internships at companies like Mastercard, EQ, and others.
Infrastructure: Facilities are decent as per the college. However, the number of hostels is not sufficient with respect to the intake. There are facilities for sports, medical care, and indoor games. Labs are high-tech, and if you want to work on any of your projects, the college also provides funding.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and experts in their fields. The curriculum I am in is under SPPU, so the role of the college is less and over by the university, which I think is very good. The new autonomous syllabus is designed with a strong focus on the ongoing trends in the industry.
Other: The campus environment is very healthy, with a good senior-junior bond, and the clubs are the key to that interaction. They organize numerous events throughout the year.

Satisfied because of placements, facilities, and faculty, but not satisfied with the campus.
Placements: About 95% of students got placed, and some students have opted for higher studies. 12 LPA is the average package offered in my course, and the lowest is around 4 LPA by Solytics, but the highest packages are many, like 46 LPA and 64 LPA by Amazon and 51 LPA by Google. Top recruiting companies are Deutsche Bank, ZS, UBS, EQ, Tarana, etc. About 10% of students got internships in a renowned company. Top roles are data analyst, SDE 1, market analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities, according to Pune city, are quite good for a nominal price of 1 lac. The facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, mess, dressing, medical assistant, etc., are available. Food quality is good for a healthy stomach, but one can get bored while eating the same menu for months, but this is preferred. Sports and games are supported, like boxing, volleyball, football, cricket, etc. We have a canteen named OAC, which changes every year, which is good. Overall, the mess and hostel are good.
Faculty: Some teachers can be a nightmare, but if you cooperate with them, they are very helpful. Permanent teachers are the best and knowledgeable, but the quality of temporary teaching may vary. The course curriculum is very good according to Pune University, which covers all the main subjects for placement. The semester exams are not that hard one can clear them in a day itself, but they need smart work. Pass percentage is 90%.
Other: I chose this course because of the placements in computer engineering. The best things are that the syllabus is easy and the teachers in our department are qualified and competent. Things that could be improved are the hands-on experience with the industry and also the practical knowledge, because currently it focuses on theoretical knowledge. There are many events conducted in the college, like Amethyst, Aakriti, Pace, sports, etc. Fest is the amethyst which has many events like a battle of bands, dance groups, etc. From various colleges like AFMC, MIT, COEP, etc.

Good college till 2022 now it's not worth it.
Placements: AIT's average package is around 13 LPA and this is because of girls. Girls get good packages. The condition of boys is not so good. The average placement for boys is around 9 LPA. The highest package was 52 LPA in 2022. The placement percentage is 95%. Very less students who have skills much more high get internships.
Infrastructure: Hostel rooms are good. The mess food varies from dish to dish it can be very good or worse. Breakfast and lunch are good here but dinner is below average. Here is a shortage of hostel rooms only 80% of students get a hostel in 2 years. The rest of the students have to find their room outside the campus.
Faculty: It is affiliated with SPPU so it follows the curriculum of SPPU and SPPU doesn't know how to check paper. They are very bad at checking papers. Faculty members are average here very few have Ph.D. degrees. They are mostly Marathi. They don't interact with students and their cross-communication is not understandable.
Other: I chose this college because I come from an army background and it had so much hype in the army but after joining I realized I made a mistake. It can improve its campus. Next year it is going autonomous so it is predicted that the campus will improve. Events are very less here.

Decent college for army brats.
Placements: Around 90-91% of our batch got placed, with a median package of about 12 LPA. Top recruiters included Microsoft, Oracle, UdChalo, and many more. Many students also got internships in similar top companies. Roles like software developer, data analyst, and cloud engineer are most common.
Infrastructure: All the things except the Wi-Fi and internet connectivity are good. The food served in the mess is better in comparison to other private colleges both quality and hygiene-wise. Various sports facilities are also provided including volleyball, cricket, football, and many more.
Faculty: Faculty members are quite helpful and knowledgeable. Most teachers explain concepts clearly and concisely. The curriculum is mostly relevant and does help in building industry-level skills. Exams are moderate in difficulty, and the pass percentage is quite good.
Other: I chose IT because I have always been interested in tech and problem-solving. The course has great faculty members, labs, and projects, which help me learn a lot. I wish there were more internships and soft-skill sessions. Campus life is fun with fests, events, and active student clubs that keep things lively.

Dissatisfied with the college.
Placements: Placement is not honesty very good, to be honest. Sales companies are coming for placement. Only girls are getting a good placement. Their average is nearly 12 LPA - 13 LPA. For boys, the condition isn't very good. The average package is 7 to 8 LPA. Some are getting placed at even at 5 - 6 LPA. Students even if getting a 6-month internship are not able to do an internship due to university policies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college and the feels taken by the college have a phase of 180. Not sufficient facilities in this college. Mess food ranges from good to worse depending on the dishes. The Wi-Fi connection is not up to the mark. Often speed is very slow and we have to depend on our internet.
Faculty: The course curriculum from a student's point of view is not great. Some subjects have no values and are implied on us for no use like CCS, PCS, etc. Semester exams to be honest not very difficult but universities often don't check the papers properly leading to less CGPA of students.

Decent college and lacks industry focus.
Placements: College data says 92 percent of CS got placed it is true but for below-average companies that's the truth. People get internships but off campus and basically top company that came to college is Mastercard that's the thing. Top role offered is software development engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the computer engineering department is decent but not exceptional. Classrooms are equipped with projectors, and the labs have functional systems. But many computers are outdated or slow, especially for tasks requiring high computational power. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. But there are heavy restrictions on sites and limited bandwidth. The hostels are basic but livable. Rooms are shared (double or triple occupancy), and the infrastructure is functional. Regular water supply and electricity backup are there.
Faculty: The curriculum is moderately relevant but clearly outdated in many areas. While basic programming, data structures, and OS are covered, there is little focus on current technologies like devOps, cloud computing, or modern AI/ML frameworks. Most students rely on external platforms (like coursera, youtube, or coding platforms) to become industry-ready. There is very little emphasis on internships or capstone projects that align with actual industry requirements.
Other: I am from the 2025 computer engineering batch at AIT. I chose this course due to my interest in coding and software development. The best part of the course is its strong foundation in core CS subjects. However, the curriculum needs to be updated to match industry trends and should include more practical exposure. Events like Aura and tech fests are average. The campus crowd is mixed, and while the environment is peaceful, it's a bit isolated. Scholarships exist for defense students. Extracurricular activities and clubs are present but lack consistency and engagement compared to top colleges.

No such feature is provided in AIT. You will be eligible to take direct admission in AIT if your father is Ex-Army but it's mandatory to give entrance exam and also to qualify it.

Some seats are reserved for the students whose father is in the Army or an Ex Army officer
