Decent infrastructure and campus, but faculty support and placements need improvement.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in our course in computer science and engineering is 90%. The highest package is 29 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. The average package offered in our course is 3.5 LPA. 35 to 40% of students got internships from our course and companies are TCS Ninja and TCS Prime. At Asansol Engineering College top recruiting companies are TCS Ninja, TCS Prime, Accenture, EY, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for our course and departments are not too good and not too bad. Wi-Fi is good. But labs, classrooms, and libraries are not too good in our computer science and engineering department because they are so old and not maintaining. Winner hostel mess and canteen are okay not too good and not too bad.
Faculty: Department teachers are too much helpful and kind in nature. They are more qualified and have more extracurricular teaching in our syllabus. They make students industry-ready. The semester exams at this college are moderate, not too much easy and not too much hard. The pass percentage is 5.5 SCGPA.
Other: At Asansol Engineering College the computer science and engineering department is one of the best courses. The best thing in our force is IEEE chapter membership. Lab and classrooms would be better improved for our course. The event faced campus crowd, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarship, and extra telegram activities are too much good in better than those other colleges.

Good teachers in Asansol Engineering College.
Placements: Minimum 80% were selected last year. IT batch: The highest package was 12 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. The average is 4.2 LPA, I guess. Companies like Digital, Infosys, Ninja, TCS, Wipro recruited. Maximum placements were in TCS, with roles like manager and debugger. To be honest, I don't know what the posts are, but you'll be satisfied.
Infrastructure: Not that much good. The facility is mediocre. Wi-Fi is there. Depends on you. I would say go for PG. You get a personal bathroom there—what else do you want? Different types of courses you can pursue include Computer Science, Information Technology, IoT, CSBS, and Data Science.
Faculty: Some are very good and experienced, but some I don't know. I don't understand their class. There are two Maths teachers (won't say their names) who are excellent in both ways. And there is this electrical sir. Awesome. He will teach you everything in a fluid manner. I love the teaching of this sir.
Other: IT is good because the crowd is less here compared to the CS branch.

Review of my college Asansol Engineering College.
Placements: I am currently in the 5th semester, so I can't say much about the placements, but from what I've heard from our seniors, placements are good. The average package is around 4-5 LPA. Companies that come for placements include Tech Mahindra, TCS, and TCS Ninja. Also, internship opportunities are good.
Infrastructure: The college buildings are good, but the classes are average. I am a local student, so I can't say much about the hostels, but there are two hostel buildings, separate for boys and girls. Sports facilities are good, and inter-department tournaments happen every year. However, the books in the library are old.
Faculty: The faculty are experienced, but the teaching methodology of many teachers is not that great. However, some teachers are supportive and good at their work. Exams are a bit on the tougher side, so you have to study throughout the semester to score well.
Other: Fests don't happen regularly, but hardware model-making competitions and hackathons are held often. The SVMCM scholarship is available for West Bengal students, along with other scholarships for students from different states.
