Review of B.K. Birla College of Arts, Science and Commerce.

Placements: Wipro and L&T are the companies for the B.Sc IT course. There are only 140 students in our course with 5 subjects per semester. About 2-3 subjects have practicals, and the remaining 2 subjects are theory only. Almost 25% of our seniors got recruited through campus. The minimum salary package offered is 2.4 LPA, and it can vary from 4-6 LPA.

Infrastructure: There are 2-3 labs like animation lab, IT lab, graphics lab, etc. There are 40-50 computers in the IT lab. There is no hostel facility through our college. Th...

It is the most popular and best college with A grade.

Placements: The placements are good in B.Sc. chemistry which is followed by M.Sc. The package varies from role to role. The top company like Century Rayon visit our college to hire students.

Infrastructure: The college is top 10 ranks all over Mumbai. The college is full of greenery. The laboratories are fully upgraded. Though the classrooms are like average without a Wi-Fi facility, the college is fully upgraded with security and other things. At every gate, there is an id card scanning machine without which students can n...

I will recommend taking admission in this college if you live nearby.

Placements: I'm currently studying now, so I can tell you about the placements of my senior batch. Some companies come here for placements like ICICI Prudential Insurance, Aditya Birla Group, Tycoons, Birla Vanya and Mumbai NEST etc. Around 15% of students got internships and placements. The top roles offered by companies are sales and marketing executive, BDM, BDE, HR and finance interns etc.

Placements: The highest packages available for BIRLA students is 3.1 Lacs per annum and the lowest is 1.1 Lacs per annum. Many companies come to our campus for providing placements such as ICICI Prudential, SKS ltd, etc. Many students scoring more than 75 percentage get more job opportunity and different packages are available for different students.

I am absolutely satisfied with our college, and our college is good.

Placements: Placements are not available in Birla College for B.Sc in biotechnology. However, our college makes students industry-ready by providing good lab skills as well as teaching theory well. For M.Sc course, our college provides placements. When students pass out from our college, they will have vast knowledge which is helpful to grab jobs in the industry.

Placements: About 60% of the students got placements in reputed companies in India. The minimum salary offered starts from Rs. 10,000 per month and increase high depending on the resume of students. Jobs were offered in domains like sales, accounting, etc. Infosys, L&T, etc., are the major companies which offered jobs and internships in our college.

Placements: Only 10% of the students were placed on their own as our college invited only one company for campus placements. Others had to manage on their own. The salary package offered was around 2 LPA. Only Capgemini was invited by the college for both B.Sc IT and B.Sc CS courses. There is nothing for B.Sc CS.

Placements: The placements were good 2 years ago. But now the placement chances are very less because college has become autonomous. Companies like capgemini, wipro, Infosys & L&T visit the campus for placements. College is not bothered about students after getting autonomous status.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite attractive. A huge space for cars and bikes parking is allotted. Also classrooms are bigger than usual. Libraries are well managed. Wi-Fi is not Available for students personal use. Labs are available for B.Sc. IT CS but not for M.Sc. students. All PCs are not working properly. Placements: Approximately 10% of students got placed and internships as well included. Rest had to find other ways like MCA or M.Sc. (IT). Companies which hired were L&T, Capgemini, TCS. Mostly Internship was offered by Infosys and TCS. The highest package I remember was 2.7 lac per annum rest all were below it.

Infrastructure: Classrooms should be more better however now they are improving the quality of rooms and facilities. Library is okay but with limited space which is okay because students use at different times. Wi-Fi isn't for students personal use. Labs are available for B.Sc. but not M.Sc. One of the oldest and the best college in Kalyan region.

Placements: There are lots of opportunities that will come to you. The much-esteemed organisation takes the campus recruitment of the students from Birla College, so there are high chances for you to get selected. I also got an opportunity from Hexaware BPS and got chosen for the same. The students scored minimum A grade were also selected. The highest salary was Rs. 25,000 per month and the lowest was Rs. 16,000 per annum.

Infrastructure: The college has a great infrastructure, and currently, it is under renovation. The Wi-Fi facility is not available for the students as far as my knowledge is concerned the labs, the classrooms are of a good size. The library has tons of books to read, and you'll get almost all subject related book and other books like novels or magazines.
