Good placements, learnings and life.

Placements: The course consists of 160 students, out of whom 70% get placed easily. The highest earning package is INR 7 LPA, and the lowest is INR 4 LPA. The top role in the media industry is that of a news anchor or radio jockey. Everyone from this course gets an internship easily with the wide range of skills this course has provided us with. Top recruiting companies are not specific, such as Deccan Herald.

Infrastructure: The university is provided with internet all over the campus, and we also have access to the media ...

Good infrastructure and campus life with great exposure.

Placements: The top recruiting companies were Deloitte, Accenture, Schbang Bangalore, Thomas Reuters, Tophire, etc. and the placements were mainly for roles such as Digital Marketing, HR, PR, etc. The packages were decent however, the numbers of selected candidates were limited.

Infrastructure: The campus is very beautiful and has a very good infrastructure with media lab, VR lab, etc. that help students throughout the curriculum. The classrooms have projectors and all the other necessary equipment. The media department has a separate library with free Wi-Fi access apart from main library which is also called as "Knowledge Center" and is very helpful for studying and doing assignments. The hostels are strict with curfews and there is no mess facility available. The good thing is that t...

B.A. CEP is a very dynamic course.

Placements: This course is a very dynamic course as it is a triple major degree. It is a bachelor of arts in communication and media, English, and Psychology. Almost 80% of students get placed after this course. In the third year, it is mandatory to do an internship and submit a research paper. Top roles offered in this course include media personalities, journalists, content writers, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Christ University is amazing. It is something every student dreams of. The campus is a very well-m...

Christ University has everything that a student should be offered to learn and grow in and out.

Placements: 98% of my batchmates got placed. The highest package offered was 9L-13Lpa, the lowest would be 3Lpa and the average being 5-6Lpa. Cisco, IBM, SAP, are the top recruiters. 100% of students got internships across various media domains. Top Roles offered is for Corporate communications.

Infrastructure: The college has a good Wi-Fi connection, classrooms are neat and tidy. The library is literally like heaven. College hostel is very neat and clean, there are canteens in every block, sports and games are also there. ...

I am fully satisfied with the course offered here.

Placements: About 75% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA and the average salary package offered was 3 LPA. Vedanta and Viacom were the top recruiters for our course. Almost 100% of the students got internships. PR executive was the top role offered here. Viacom also hired students for camera roles.

It is a great college, but it should get better.

Placements: Placements in our college this time are better, but more media-centred companies should visit our college for placements. This time better companies visited our college. The process of placements could be better with involving students as well in the placement cell. Maybe students could be given the opportunity to come and invite more companies as it'll give them an exposure to. The salary package offered ranges between 2.5 to 5-6 LPA. Students should build a good resume in order to get good pla...

Great infrastructure, average faculty and facilities.

Placements: Campus placements were started for our course just recently, so most of the visiting companies are start ups from Bangalore. Big players like Zomato and Amazon had also come. Most of the roles were for content writers with an average of 2 Lacs per annum.

Infrastructure: The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled but all the entertainment websites are blocked. This leads to us not being able to access information related to our course which is very annoying at times. Almost all the classrooms have a projector, screen and speakers. There are lots of seminar halls and panel rooms for small events or screenings. Media lab is quite small and the facilities are not up to date. Campus hostel has a capacity of less than 500, including both boys and girls. Majority of the stude...

Holistic experience merging academics, co-curricular activities and building intra-personal skills.

Placements: About 60% of students from my batch including all courses, were placed in various companies. The highest package in campus was offered by D. E Shaw, Hyderabad of 16.5 Lacs per annum. The roles included Financial Analyst and work in the field of Research and Operations. On account of internships being included in the curriculum, all students got internships over the summer in various companies and organisations respective to the course.

The teachers are knowledgeable and bring in good guest faculty.

Placements: The placements usually take place in the month of January. For our seniors, placements went quite well as many of them got placed in good companies. Be it PR, events, newspaper or advertising, most of them got in. I cannot say about the salary, though. When we speak to our seniors, most of them seem very satisfied with their jobs and seem to be enjoying it.

Satisfied but too scared of detention.

Placements: Most of them were placed with a range of average and good salaries. IBM selected a lot of students but it is not exciting being a technical content writer for a company. People chose it for the pay. Most students are into public relation, corporate communications, event management and client servicing. I doubt anybody has taken up hardcore political or social journalism. Internships are for the students to search for themselves

A great place to pursue education.

Placements: The placement opportunities are ample enough and satisfactory. The reputed companies come for placements with a good salary package and get placed. Students get an opportunity for an internship in great companies. Name of the institute adds weight to the profile.

Infrastructure: A peaceful place with a significant infrastructure and has all the facilities. There were few issues regarding Wi-Fi, but they sorted out now. The classrooms are spacious and have a great library. There are enough playgrounds, and all th...

College has experienced faculty members. Infrastructure is very good and greater chances of placement gave me the boost I needed. Rich in its educational heritage, college provided me the background and the support. Faculty members are always up for communication. Administrators always worked for the betterment of the students. Other than academics, discipline has always been integral part of the college. It gave me base to face the corporate challenges.

The college has a good decorum in terms of language and clothing. But the quality of education is less yet exposure is great. The media studies department has a good industry exposure but faculty have less experience in terms of industry and teaching.

Faculty needs to be more student friendly and courses need to be flexible. English department is extremely resourceful. Psychology department needs to have more permanent staff with rather than research scholars teaching. CEP students need to be offered media specialization as that is the sole reason of having chosen the course. Students need to be encouraged to do more than just two internships during college period.

Placements: I am in batch 2021-2024. I cannot tell you much about the placements. But I am sure our college is known for its internships and placements and I will get one soon. 25k internships and placements in the beginning. Later according to the work it increases or changes.

Infrastructure: Our block is quite comfortable. The labs and other classes are well maintained too. The canteens here are very famous for their delicious food from coffee to aloo ka parantha you get everything. Gourmets also prepare delicious food. S...

Placements: Most of the students get placed in our course. If you do your work well and make the best out of your opportunity there is no need to worry. The best part of studying 3 courses is that I have more options. Students from our course can apply for internships in the fields of media or economics or political science.

Infrastructure: Facilities provided are good, and discipline is also maintained. There are various canteens which have good food and wide varieties available to the students. We have a huge and very res...

Satisfied with the college moreover because of the faculty.

Placements: The placements have been decent in the campus with our batch. Companies are coming every second day for recruitment and are taking decent no. of students according to their requirements. Being a humanities student it's a bit hard for us to find a proper company that suits the kind of work that we want to do especially even after almost 6 months no media firm has come to the campus.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is one of the best thing about christ. From well equipped classrooms to properly functioning labs...
