Overall, it is a great college for everything.

Placements: Placements depend upon the student's abilities and skills solely. The college faculty will help you to some extent. But everything depends upon your ability. NGOs also come here. Analyst roles are offered. You can do an internship in major companies.

Infrastructure: The food is really good in the hostel, but if you want more tasty food, there are many canteens within the college. We have Subway, Stilt, Bhimas, and many more. The hostel is spacious and great. We have a problem with water facilities, but it's negl...

The college has good facilities and infrastructure.

Placements: The school offers career guidance programs by inviting various experts. It also offers civil services coaching and mentorship for students. The school provides an opportunity for different internships. Future prospects are also very bright and promising.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel and university is amazing. The classrooms are spacious. The hostel rooms are well-maintained. Wi-Fi works well at both hostel and university. The central library has a separate section for books related to social ...

GSHS is a better place to study arts and humanities.

Placements: GSHS is fairly a new school in GITAM and doesn't provide a placement facility. However, the faculty members help students to find internships. Even the department collaborates with other institutions such as CHSS (Center for Human Security Studies), etc., in order to create a pathway for students who are interested in internships. However, there is no guarantee for students to get placed right after their graduation.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty good both on our campus and hostel. I was a hosteller earlier, and the facilities provided in the hostel were up to the mark. The transport facility is also quite good. Classrooms are spacious and equipped with projectors. Though the Wi-Fi facility is available, it is not satisfactory as it is limited to only department areas. Our campus has a central library, which has a huge collection of books. Besides a central library, GSHS also has a department library, which h...

There are very good faculty members and infrastructure.

Placements: The department does a very good job of helping us to find internships. Moreover, it will be very much helpful if the timings of internships coincide with our class timings. We were also provided with premium Coursera accounts for a few months to gain additional knowledge from third parties.

Infrastructure: Canteens, sports and indoor games facilities are outstanding here, and they exceeded my expectations when I first joined here. There was also a lot of improvement in facilities over the past few years. The inf...

GSHS is a new institute to choose for arts and humanities.

Placements: GSHS is relatively a new school in Hyderabad, and none of the batches has graduated yet. Our batch is the first to pass out, and I have seen the evolution of school over the first three years. Though we might not get placed directly in any company or organisation, there is a huge scope for internship opportunities and apprentice positions which are guided by well-known faculty members. Very supportive administration and faculty members have been paying personal attention to us and guiding us thr...

GITAM is really a student-friendly college.

Placements: Placements at GITAM are not determined as of now because the very first batch is yet to attend placements. However, if we have to believe the information provided by lecturers about job opportunities, it seems like there will be some placements. If companies are concerned about this course, then there will be a huge range of possible career options. You could be a journalist, an editor, a writer, a director, a lecturer, a filmmaker or even a social media manager. I know one student who did an in...

It has a good infrastructure, great faculty and amazing life. There is little scope for improvement.

Placements: Our batch didn't have placements for two reasons. The first reason is we were the first batch to graduate from the school. Moreover, we were only three in number, and all of us had quite clear goals about what we wanted to do next. Hence, the need for placements for our batch was minimal. For subsequent batches, our college and its staff members are working to provide placements in relevant industries by taking feedback from students about their fields of interest.

Infrastructure: There are no many things to complain about the infrastructure of our college. Classrooms are great, and the labs are very well-equipped. The library is well-stocked. Even the school has its own library, which is growing with time. It is stocked with a plethora of amazing books which are relevant to all humanities and courses. I don't have first-hand experience of the hostel as I was a day scholar. However, from what I have heard from our juniors, hostel facilities are also really good here. Ther...

GITAM isn't what it appears at first glance.

Placements: The school is fairly new and has not had a batch that graduated yet - my batch would be the first one. However, the staff are all well-connected in the media industry (for those pursuing a career in the field) and can provide students with internships and job opportunities if they prove that they are capable.

Infrastructure: The quality of infrastructure of the campus is quite good - the hostel is comfortable as well. The hostel wardens used to be really difficult but that has changed. In my experience, there wa...

Is it really a place to grow? I say NO!

Placements: For my batch, we do not have placements and I hope my juniors get them at least. However, it is very doubtful. Every single time we ask our faculty about it, they just laugh it off and do not take it seriously and just say that they're working on it.

Infrastructure: The main library doesn't even have any books related to my subjects until we were behind our management and finally were able to get very limited books, 3 or 4 books. Inspite of us giving them a list of really good books and the ones that a library ...
