GNIOT BTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025
GNIOT BTech is a full-time prorgamme. GNIOT Group of Institutions offers a four-year BTech course across 12 specialisations. The college also offers direct admission to BTech (LE) for three years. Both of these courses are offered in affiliation with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow and approved by AICTE, which is taught by the GNIOT Engineering Institute. Candidates will be selected based on their valid scores in either the GNIOT online test or via scores of JEE Main/ CUET UG entrance exams. The selected students will be allocated seats through the UPCET Counselling.

At the UG level, GNIOT offers admission to BTech via a valid score on entrance exams. Admission to BTech (Lateral Entry) is only given to candidates who passed their last qualifying exam from UP or UP domicile. Only 10% of seat intake is reserved for BTech (LE) admission. For last year, the closing rank for BTech in Electrical Engineering was 422516 which is very close to this range. This was for the General category under the All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cutoffs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission to Greater Noida Institute of Technology.
