My honest brief review of ifmr.

Placements: IFMR is a tier 2 b-school which is known very well for its finance specialisation. The placements for finance are also very good as it offers you placements at reasonably good managerial positions in financial giants such as Credit Suisse, JPMC, EY, Deloitte, KPMG, RBS, BOFA, etc. The package you get would be in the range of 6-18 with the mean package being 9 Lacs (approx).

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the institute is good but not something which I would be very proud of. The classes could have been in...

IFMR is worth the money.

Placements: I would say that the placement scenario at IFMR is just decent and not great. After investing 15 lacs, and living far from your home, you get a salary package of around 8.5 LPA after two years of rigorous work. If you are in the top 25% of the batch, you will get a decent package of around or more than 10 lacs per annum. Almost 90% of the financial firms visit the campus to hire students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is IFMR is good, but one thing that worries us is that it is isolated from the city. Ther...

IFMR from a perspective of an IFMRIAN.

Placements: The placement figure of IFMR speaks of IFMR being a premier B-school. It is one of the best finance B-School in Chennai as well as in india. Here you can get a package ranging from 6 lacs to 18 lacs with average package being 9 lacs per annum. Mostly all top notch financial firms visits the campus.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very sound with a lush green 40 acre campus free from noise and pollution. One can always have a peaceful life here amidst the greenery and breezy winds. The hostel is on twin sharin...

A review of Institute for Financial Management and Research.

Placements: The placements are good here as per my knowledge. Placements depend on a number of micro and macro factors. Last year, the placements were good as the companies offered an average salary package between 8.50 LPA to 9 LPA. Mostly financial companies like JP Morgan, Credit Suisse, CRISIL, HDFC, Yes Bank, ICICI, and Northern Arc visited the campus for placements. Consulting roles are offered by Deloitte, EY, KPMG, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant and Wipro. The placement cell is active, and most of ...

Placements: Placements in the college are very well as compared to many tier-2 colleges. After investing 15 lacs for two years, the average salary package offered by the companies to placed students was around 9 LPA. Investing 15 lacs is reasonable. Mostly financial firms along with IT and consulting firms visit the college to recruit students. The placement cell of the college is effective.

Placements: Students get placed in some reputed firms each year. Likewise, we are also expecting a similar sort of placement scenario for our batch. In my senior batch, 95% of them are placed with the highest package of 18 LPA and the average package of 6.5 LPA. Different roles related to various sectors are offered to students, and finance roles are offered more in our college. Companies like HSBC, CRISIL, EY, etc. visit our campus for recruitment. My life at college is satisfactory, but it needs improvement in some factors.

Placements: Almost all the students got placed in the campus placements. Initially, there are a couple of good companies in the field of finance like HSBC, Deloitte, CRISIL, and a few others. But towards the end, it is a kind of push off for the students. In the previous batch, there weren't 100% placements, but the previous batches were provided 100% placements. Students coordinate the placement cell, and they work hard to get all the students placed.

Placements: IFMR is a tier-2 B-school, and it comes under top 30 B-schools of India regarding placements. ROI is good as you get the average salary package of 9 LPA after investing 15 lacs for two years (inclusive of hostel and mess). If you want to specialise your MBA in the finance area, IFMR can be given priority as all the reputed MNCs visit the college to recruit finance MBA students.

Placements: The average package is around 8-10 lakhs for seniors with 75% placed by November 2017. Internship process for juniors is in full swing, and 100% placements are expected. Internship stipend ranges typically from approximately 5k- 10k on an average, but with some very good profiles of top-notch industry leaders.

My take on - ifmr b-school.

Placements: IFMR offers you 100 percent placements since inception. IFMR is known for its placements particularly in the finance industry. The average package is around 9 lacs which are very good for a finance b-school and better than many tier 2 b-schools in India. Companies like Deloitte EY, KPMG, Accenture, HSBC, Crisil, ANZ, Credit Suisse visits the campus with good packages and roles to be offered.

Experience IFMR in these few lines.

Placements: The placements at IFMR are very good. It offers good packages to those who want to pursue MBA in finance. Other specializations are not that good, Marketing is getting better, only a few selects HR as specialisation and not many go solely for operations. Mostly finance companies visit the campus. The average package is around 9 lacs per annum. It has a very active placement cell as well.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not very good but it is not bad as well. IFMR's new campus has been built in Sri city 4 year...

Placements: The average placement for seniors passing out in 2018 was around 8.6 lacs per annum with almost all the students got placed except a few who opted out of placements. This is the good average salary that one can expect at a tier 2 b-school. Mostly finance roles were offered with 6.5 being the lowest salary and 18 being the highest. Placements: The placements provided for the students of 2018 batch were not much great, according to my knowledge. However, the placements were well, but the average salary offered to the students dropped to 8.5 LPA from 9 LPA (offered in the last year). The highest salary offered to the students remained the same, i.e., 18 LPA. I do not have a strong idea about the lowest package, but it must be around 6 lacs per annum.
