The expected IIIT Allahabad M.Tech cutoff in 2024 can be anticipated on the basis of past year cutoffs. IIIT Allahabad admission to M.Tech is based on JoSAA Counselling followed by the CSAB Counselling. Going as per the last three year data, the expected IIIT R1 closing ranks for Allahabad cutoff for M.Tech can range as follows for the General category students for top courses: 

• For M.Tech. in Software Engineering, it can range between 604 and 573
• For M.Tech. in IT (Machine Learning, Robotics and Human Computer Interaction Group), it can range around 580 
• For M.Tech. in Network and Security Group, it can range between 551 and 591

Candidates taking admission to an MTech programme shall have a valid BE/BTech degree in a relevant discipline with at least 60% aggregate (55% for SC/ST) from a recognised university. The candidates wanting to pursue M.Tech from IIITA need to take the GATE exam. Candidates with a valid GATE score are called for the CCMT Counselling rounds based on cutoff marks. Further, based on performance in the counselling round, seat allotment is carried out.

The eligibility criteria for the M.Tech course at IIIT Allahabad is that the candidate must have a BTech/ MSc in an allied discipline from a recognised university/ institute with a minimum of 60% aggregate (55% for SC/ST candidates) or equivalent. The course is available in four main specialisations. The M.Tech specialisations are Information Technology, Data Science and Analytics, Bioinformatics, and Electronics and Communication Engineering. Admission to the M.Tech course at IIIT Allahabad is based on scores in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), followed by CCMT counselling.
