IISER Bhopal Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: Students often continue their academic journey by pursuing master's and doctoral degrees. IISERs have a strong collaboration with international research institutes like Max Plan. Many graduates go to DRDO, ISRO, CSIR, and R&D. Biotech companies also come here.

Placements: In my course, many students pursue their future studies in various fields for PhD or JRF by clearing the GATE exam. Some students went abroad for internships, like Spain, the US, and Germany. Last year, our senior also represented India in the talk of WHO.

Placements: At IISER Bhopal, the placement rate for this course is not very high, as many students chose to pursue PhD or higher studies. The average package is around 8 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are Deloitte, TCS, and Quantiphi. Around 60% of students secure internships, mostly in research, data analysis, and consulting roles.

Placements: Not a lot of people sit for interviews. If you are a decent student, companies will definitely consider you, you just need to have the corporate aptitude. No official data regarding highest or lowest package to my knowledge but I have heard the average is around 18 LPA. Companies like Nomura have been coming for some years now. Placements: Many students, after completing their master opt for a PhD internationally and pursue it. A very few percentage go for a job and get placements. Since it is a research college, students join it with the aim of pursuing that instead of aiming for placements.

Placements: The lowest package is around 8 LPA and the highest is 28.5 LPA. Top recruiting company is Barclays. Top roles are for economics department and one for data science engineer. Minimum of 20% of the batch and the major department students are placed.
