Placements: Placements of IIT Kanpur are very good. Everyone is provided with resources and knowledge for getting offers for placements. Every now and then different companies are invited to let us know about the prerequisites to get internships and placements.

Placements: Around 70% of students get placed in my course of material science and engineering. The average package is around 17 LPA. Prominent recruiters include Tata Steel, Reliance Industries, Larsen and Toubro, and Infosys. Internship opportunities are less in this course.

Placements: At IIT Kanpur, placement percentage varies yearly but is generally high. The highest, the lowest, and average packages depend on the field. Top recruiters include Google, Microsoft, and Goldman Sachs. Many secure internships at top firms like NVIDIA and Qualcomm. Common roles include SDE, analyst, and research intern.

Placements: I am in the mechanical engineering department of IIT Kanpur. There are 150 students in my department. More than 1,200 students are placed in my batch for the year 2022. The highest package is 4 crores per annum and the lowest package ranges from 6-8 LPA. Placements: Placements are good, obviously as it is IIT. Overall average package is between 25 LPA to 30 LPA. Branches like CS have an average package of 50 LPA. My branch of chemical engineering has an average of 20 LPA with almost 90% placement rate. Internships are also very good.

Placements: In my department, approximately 90% of placements occur on campus. The highest package this time offered was 85 LPA, the lowest was 10 LPA, and the average was 19 LPA. Dr. Reddy and Axxella are the main recruiters during the placements in our course. The internship number is not so good but around 50% of students get the internship. I have no idea about the role but it depends on which area students want to go to.

Placements: About 85% of students get placed in Biological Sciences and Bioengineering, and the rest decide to go for higher education. I think the highest has gone around 50 LPA, and the average is 25 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Microsoft, Google, Uber, Zomato, ITC Limited, etc. Internships are tough, as there are less biotech companies, and non-core may be difficult, but they require skills. Top roles offered are Software Developer, Product Manager, Entrepreneur, etc.

Placements: Approximately 86% of students get placed on our campus. Top recruiting companies like  Dr. Reddy's laboratories, Reliance, etc., visit the college for placements. Students chose non-core as well as core fields like SDE, product manager, etc. The highest package is 80 LPA and the lowest package is 8 LPA. The average package is 20 LPA.

Placements: As per phase one data, 1000 students get placed which is a very good number. The highest salary package offered is 3 crores per annum and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Despite the branch, we get equal chance for placement. The top roles offered are buisness analyst, data scientist, data analyst, software engineer, and AI engineer.

Placements: More than 70% of students are placed in this course. The highest package was 90 LPA, the lowest was 9 LPA, and the average was around 21 LPA. Most of the offers accepted by students are from 15-20 LPA. BNY MELLON, BLITZ, FEDX, AUXOAI, ACCENTURE SOLUTIONS, MASTERCARD, NINE EDUCATION, SVAYA ROBOTICS, NPCI, IXIGO, CARS24, and VEDANTA FPL TECHNOLOGIES are top recruiters for this course. Placements: Finance, consulting, field engineering, product, SDE, core companies, etc., are recruiting. About 80%+ students get placed. The highest package is around 1 Cr, the lowest is around 10 LPA and the median is around 20-22 LPA. Top recruiters are SLB, Finmechanics, Meesho, JLR, ITC, HUL, BCG, Nestled, etc. Around 40-50% students get internships.

Placements: This year the placements went very well across all branches. In total about 900-1000 students got placed. In civil, about 60-70% of students got placed. The highest packages offered were 3.6cr (PPO) and 2.6cr. Our institute has a cap of 10 lakh for the companies. So, the lowest package will be 10 lakh, and the average was about 25 lakh. Top recruiting companies were BPCL, etc. Internships were somewhat lower from this branch. Top roles offered were SDE, data analyst and consultant.

Placements: 85% of students got placed. The highest package is about 50 LPA, and the least is about 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are BHEL, NTPC, and AECOM, and the roles offered are structural engineer, site engineer, and project manager. About 70% of students got internships in civil engineering.

Placements: Over 85% of students were placed by the end of phase 1 of the placement drive. The highest package was 1.43 crores per annum (international), 1.12 crores per annum (India); the average was 20–25 LPA; the lowest was 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Microsoft, Google, JLR, Bajaj Auto, Tata Motors, ITC, and BCG. Placements: Amazing placements are here. It's the best college for mechanical engineering students all over India. The average package is around 24 lacs, while the highest is always above one crore. Also, most of the students get internships in their third year, which leads to PPO.

Placements: Around 70-80 percent of students get placed. Core sector companies do come, but the salary offered ranges around 8-12 LPA. There are plenty of opportunities in non-core sectors, and you can get into various non-core roles in analytics, IT, and consulting. If you are not too poor, then you can easily get placed.

Placements: In the civil department, there are 104 registered students, out of which 72 students are placed. This results in a placement rate of 69.2%. Some recruiting companies include Microsoft India, Google India, Amazon, Zomato, Tata Projects Limited, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Merilytics, American Express, and Reliance Industries Limited. Placements: Overall placement in our branch are less because very few companies comes for our branch students that's why. Students go to research line and most students go to technical job by learning coding because some students don't want to research or may be some financial problem.

Placements: About 69% of students were placed in the Civil Engineering course, with 106 registered students. The highest package offered was 1 crore, while the lowest package from IIT Kanpur was 8 lakh, and the average package for civil engineering graduates was around 17 to 18 lakh. The top recruiting company was Quant, with top roles offered in the course as IT Analyst.

Placements: 77.8% students were placed in my course. Median package offered was 18LPA. Top role offered was that of software engineer in IT by MNCs like Adobe, Microsoft and Amazon, consulting roles were offered by Accenture along with core roles by Airbus and HAL. Around 30% students of my course were offered on-campus internships in mostly technical, consulting and trading roles.
