Placements: The placements offered at IIT Kharagpur were impressive always, but from the past two years, it has become even more attractive, regarding number of placements and average/the highest package. Not only the core engineering departments but other departments are also getting huge offers from the core/ non-core companies. About 80-85% of the students who sit for placements get placed.
