Placements: According to the data of this year's placement from my department above 80% of the students got placed. The placement from my batch was 100% and from the dual degree batch, it was above 80% considering that all of them did not prepare for the internship as they were looking for a career ahead in research. Placements: Placements have always been crucial for the students at IIT Kharagpur. Almost 75-80% of students get placed every year. Top recruiting companies like Schlumberger, Vedanta limited and ONGC visit our college for placements. Though only a few that is 5-7 students from a batch of 60-70 students get placed in core companies and the rest of the students choose non-core companies. The highest salary package offered this year is 21 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 10 LPA.

Infrastructure: Our college provides facilities like classrooms, libraries, and well-equipped labs with high-end technology. Classrooms are air-conditioned with good air ventilation. Wi-Fi facility is good, but it has some issues regarding the speed as complained by many students. Each hostel has its own pros and cons with the availability of single, double and triple sharing rooms. Facilities like playgrounds, gym room, indoor games facilities like badminton and table tennis are very well-equipped. Food served...

Placements: This year approximately 71% got placed in both core and non core placements. Out of a batch of approximately 35 people, approximately 4-5 students took core jobs. Jobs varied from architects to financial advisors. No foreign jobs though. Compulsory internship in 8th semester.

Placements: In the previous year, our department had 2nd highest placements amongst all the departments in our institution, i.e., about 91% placements. This year the placement rate decreased to 71%. Students got placed in core companies like Earth. They also got placed in companies like Auctus Advisors, Uniworks, Flipkart, etc.

Placements: Placement was 100% for my branch. The highest package for was 20 Lacs and the lowest was 12 Lacs per annum. Top recruiters are Intel, Texas, Xilinx, BHEL, Qualcomm and many other top companies. There is no provision for internship in my batch. Based on the companies requirement relevant roles have been given to students.

Placements: In my course there'll be just about 50 students per batch. Last year 62% of them got placed. The highest package offered was 39 Lacs per annum and the average was 20 Lacs per annum. So of the companies that recruited were Microsoft, IBM, Apple, Goldman Sachs, American express, Cohesity and Capital one. Around 75% of them got internships in companies like Amazon, Samsung, Oracle and some above mentioned placement companies.

Placements: Almost all students get placed with a decent package. The highest package goes around 50lpa including company shares. Top recruiting companies were Adobe, Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Mastercard, IBM. Most of the students got internship and later PPO from IBM Bangalore. Placements: Almost all of them were placed. 90% of the students. The highest salary was 33 LPA and avg was 11 LPA and the lowest was 6 LPA. Some top recruiting companies are Jindal, Tata steel etc. Top roles are associate manager, head engineer etc. 90% got internship in many big companies including some IT companies.

Placements: The placement is really good. This year a record number of students got different jobs around the world in so-called large companies such as Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, etc. 5 students got package of 1 crore and every year the average remains almost 15 lacs.

Placements: Almost Everyone gets placed in core or non-core profiles. The highest domestic package is around 50 Lacs (CTC) and international packages hover over 1 Lacs. Top recruiters are Google, Microsoft, ITC, P&G, Johnson&Johnson, Honeywell etc. Almost everyone gets an internship and most of them are in software engineering or data Science profile followed by core chemical engineering (Pharma, Process ).

Placements: There are 100% placements for students of our course from the last 3 years. The average salary package offered is always about 12 LPA. There are many top recruiting companies like Deloitte, Microsoft, etc., which visit here and hire students from the department. But there used to be less number of internships previously. However, from the previous year, the number of internships has been increased drastically.

Infrastructure: ISE department has very sophisticated labs like operations, research, data science lab, virtual reality lab, etc. You will have free Wi-Fi facility anywhere on the campus (unlimited). There would be a central library on the campus which has a vast number of books. Every department also has its library inside the department.
