- The JoSAA Round 4 seat allotment result 2025 has been released for IIT Mandi admission to BE/BTech courses. Candidates who have been allocated seats in this round must pay the required fee and upload the required documents online by Jul 9, 2025. Additionally, the Round 5 seat allocation result will be announced on Jul 11, 2025.
- The IIT JAM 2025 counselling process has concluded for admission to the MSc course with the release of the Round 4 admission list. Candidates selected for admission can download their IIT JAM 2025 offer letters from the official candidate portal on Jul 9, 2025.

The total tuition fee for BTech is INR 8 lakh. However, this information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. In addition, the total course fee will be higher as it will include other components such as admission fee, caution money deposit, hostel charges (if applicable), etc., as well. Additionally, canidates have to pay for hostel fee ane one-time payable charges of INR 22,000.
The total tuition fee for two-year course is INR 20,000 and the hostel fee (excluding meal plan) is INR 88,000. Total course fee will include other components such as admission fee, caution deposit, etc. as well. This fee is as per the first year/semester fees. Thus, the actual fee may vary. Aspirants can further visit the IIT-Mandi official website (iitmandi.ac.in) for more information around the fee structure.
The application fee for MS by Research/ PhD is INR 200 and INR 100 for General/ EWS/ OBC/ OBC (NCL)/ Transgender/ Foreign Nationals and Women/ SC/ ST/ PD, respectively. JEE application fee for boys is INR 1,000, INR 800 for girls, and INR 500 for SC/ST/PwD/Transgender category students. Candidates applying for MTech, need to pay GATE application fee for boys, which is INR 1,700, INR 850 for girls, and INR 850 for SC/ST/PwD category students. For last year, the closing rank for Integrated B.Tech. + M.Tech. in Bioengineering was 15216 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in IIT Mandi - Indian Institute of Technology.

IISc Bangalore conducted the GATE 2024 exam on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024. The GATE 2024 application form was released on 24th August 2024 on the official website at gate.iisc.ac.in.
