The GATE COAP 2025 Round 7 window to view offers and make a decision for admission to the ME/MTech courses will be opened on Jun 23, 2025 (10 AM).
A few more updates are given below:
- The JoSAA Counselling 2025 schedule has been revised for IIT Mandi admission to BE/BTech courses. As per the revised schedule, the last date for fee payment and document upload process by candidates allocated seats in Round 1 is Jun 22, 2025. Further, the Round 2 seat allocation results will now be released on Jun 25, 2025.
- The IIT JAM 2025 third admission list has been declared for admission to the MSc course. Candidates offered seats in the 3rd list need to log in to the official JAM portal to view their status and are required to pay the seat confirmation fee till Jun 20, 2025. Additionally, the fourth admission list is tentatively scheduled to be released on Jun 30, 2025.

Admission to the BSc programme offered at IIT Mandi will be entirely entrance-based for the academic year 2024. JEE Advanced admit card 2024 will be released by the exam conducting authority on May 17 and JEE Advanced exam 2024 will be held on May 26 for IIT Mandi BSc course admission.

Applicants with a three or four-year BSc degree in a relevant field from an accredited university or institute are eligible to apply for admission to the MSc course at IIT Mandi. The exact qualifying requirements are listed in the regulations that are periodically authorised by the institute's senate and released by the institute for admission in each year. Admission of the candidate further must be approved by the Chairperson, Senate and notified to the Senate.

For last year, the closing rank for Integrated B.Tech. + M.Tech. in Bioengineering was 15216 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in IIT Mandi - Indian Institute of Technology.
The salary of a PhD Research Scholar at IIT Mandi ranges between INR 30,013 per month to INR 31,327 per month, approximately. IISc Bangalore conducted the GATE 2024 exam on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024. The GATE 2024 application form was released on 24th August 2024 on the official website at gate.iisc.ac.in.
