- The JoSAA Round 1 seat allotment results 2025 have been published for IIT Ropar admission to BE/BTech courses. The last date for fee payment and document upload by candidates who have been allocated seats in this round is Jun 18, 2025. Further, the Round 2 seat allocation results will be published on Jun 21, 2025.
- The IIT JAM 2025 third admission list has been declared for admission to the MSc course. Candidates offered seats in the 3rd list need to log in to the official JAM portal to view their status and are required to pay the seat confirmation fee till Jun 20, 2025. Additionally, the fourth admission list is tentatively scheduled to be released on Jun 30, 2025.

IIT Ropar's admission process includes the application process, selection round, cutoff, merit list, and counseling. The step-wise admission process is given below:
Step 1: IIT Ropar Application Process
Candidates seeking admission at IIT Ropar are required to complete the application form for the course-specific entrance exam. For example, for BTech, candidates are required to apply for JEE Main followed by JEE Advanced application. Similarly, for the MSc, IIT JAM application form is required to be completed.
Step 2: Selection Rounds
IIT Ropar admits students to BTech courses based on JEE Main and JEE Advanced scores. Candidates are allotted seats in JoSAA Counselling for BTech, BTech-MTech (Dual Degree), and BS courses.
