BTech at IIT Bhilai is a full-time, four-year course in six specialisations. - Merit-cum-Means Scholarship: Available only to undergraduate students in UR and OBC categories. Students must get a minimum CGPA of 6.0 to avail the benefits of the scholarship.
- Institute SC/ST Scholarship: All undergraduate students in SC and ST categories are included. The parental income of candidates must not exceed INR 4.5 LPA.
- Institute Free Studentship Scholarship: Only 10% of students from UG courses can apply for the grant of Free Studentship. Their parental income must not exceed 5 LPA for General students and INR 6 LPA for OBC Students.

Yes, IIT Bhilai offers various categories of scholarships to its UG as well as PG students. It encourages its students to apply for scholarships so that their path toward academic excellence could be supported well. The details of all IIT Bhilai scholarships are provided below:
- Merit-cum-Means (MCM) Scholarship: This scholarship is available to a maximum of 25% of undergraduate students in the UR and OBC categories.
- SC/ST Scholarship: This can be availed by all undergraduate students belonging to SC and ST categories. The eligible students are able to avail of free food and boarding as well as an allowance of Rs 250 per month.
- Free Studentship Scholarship: Ten per cent of the total students in undergraduate programmes can avail of the grant of free studentship.
IIT Bhilai BTech 2025 FAQs
NTA has announced the JEE Main exam date 2025 session 1 and 2. The first session exam will be conducted on January 22, 23, 24, 28 and 29, 2025 (Paper 1), and January 30, 2025 (Paper 2). The second session of JEE Mains will be held from April 1 to 8, 2025. The JEE Main 2025 exam date for sessions 1 and 2 can be checked on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Below is the list of documents required to fill JEE Main application form, students must ensure that the documents uploaded should be of the size and format prescribed by the NTA.
- An active email address and mobile number are required for receiving confirmation and verification messages from NTA.
- Aadhar card details
- Class 10 and Class 12 marksheet
- Scanned photograph and signature of the candidate
- Scanned copy of the category certificate (if applicable)
- Scanned copy of the PwD certificate (if applicable)
- Details for paying the application fee using net banking, credit card, debit card, or UPI

JEE Main result 2024 session 1 has been announced by the NTA. The JEE Main 2024 Result session 1 was released on February 12. NTA has activated the JEE Mains result 2024 link on the official website. Candidates need to login on the official website using their application number and date of birth to check their JEE Mains 2024 result. The score card will have details about the percentile score in all three subjects and the aggregate percentile. The All India Rank of JEE Main 2024 will be announced along with session 2 (April) result.
To apply for IIT Bhilai BTech course, candidates must visit the offiicial website of NTA and register for JEE Main exam. The exam is conducted in two sessions.
