In the mess, the Maharaja system was followed by IIT BHU. The menu will be daily-based. Food was quite decent here. TTs and TVs are provided in the common rooms.
Faculty: Faculty are so experienced at the industrial level. They are more into research; students can participate in their research and learn more. Classes are interactive; exam questions depend on class discussions. A relative grading system is followed in IIT BHU.
Other: The overall experience at IIT BHU is really good. It's open campus, so it's not as strict as the rest of the university. It has a good environment for learning many things. 3 fests are conducted here, namely Spardha, Technex, and Kashiyatra. Students get good networking by clubs; they can participate in their choice of interests like dance, music, sports, and science.

College has excellent placements every year.
Placements: About 85% of students are placed in my branch. The highest package offered from my course is ₹92 LPA, the average is ₹25 LPA, and the lowest is ₹8 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Flipkart, Oracle, Amazon, Palo Alto Networks, and many more. The top roles offered are as SDE, DA/DS, and consultant. Internships for around 15-20% of students are sorted.
Infrastructure: The campus is huge, occupying an area of 1,300 acres. It has two sections: one is BHU, and the other is IIT. Wi-Fi facilities are provided throughout the college campus. The infrastructure is quite old, as it was constructed over a hundred years ago. Hostels are okay, and the mess and canteen food is considered the best among all IITs. Medical, sports, and games facilities are adequate for pursuing a good interest.
Faculty: Professors are highly qualified and engaged in various research work. The quality of education they impart is incomparable. Mechanical engineering is one of the toughest courses, making it challenging to score well in examinations. The pass CPI is around 5. Yes, the college prepares students to be industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course because my JEE rank offered this as the best suitable option for me. The best aspect is that mechanical engineering provides a complete feel of engineering. Areas for improvement include living conditions and infrastructure. Events and fests are the best part of college.

IIT BHU is one of the excellent colleges, as you know that it is one of the oldest colleges.
Placements: Approximately 60 percent of students are placed there every year. The highest placement is INR 80 LPA. The average placement is INR 21 LPA. The lowest placement is INR 8 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Google, Facebook, Maruti, Tata, etc. Every year, approximately 40 percent of students get internships from my course. Placement is overall good at IIT BHU.
Infrastructure: The hostel is too old for IIT Bhu, as you know that it is the oldest college among all IITs. Classrooms are also poor. Although the library is good because it is newly constructed, Sports facilities are very good at IIT Bhu. Mess food is also good. There are several game facilities at my college. Fest is excellent in IIT Bhu, like spardha kashiyatra, aagman saturnalia, etc. In spardha other college students come in my college and there is a huge competition among them .
Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful; they are well educated and qualified and they teach very well. This course is quite good and understandable. Yes, it makes the students industry-ready. The semester exam is average, not too difficult. Every year, approximately 60 percent of students pass.
Other: I chose this course because placement is good in this branch. And it is a very difficult branch. Events are excellent at IIT BHU. Mess and food is also average.

IIT BHU is a good IIT to be in if you choose branches like CSE, ECE, or EEE.
Placements: Nearly 80-90% of students were placed in the last placement season, with packages ranging from 10 LPA to 1.68 LPA. The placements also depend on the branch you choose, as almost the entire circuital branch was recruited, but branches like Engineering Physics, Ceramic, and Pharma had the least number of students placed.
Infrastructure: The library has centralized AC, but it's not open 24/7; it opens at 6 AM and closes by 2 AM. Wi-Fi is available all over the campus, but the speed is not always great. The infrastructure is very old, but the classrooms are maintained and decent. Hostel life is not so great; some hostels are quite old, so be prepared to face insects and reptiles.
Faculty: Academic pressure is always there, as it's an IIT, but it largely depends on the branch you are in. In the second year, we also have exploratory projects, which help some students become familiar with the industry. There is relative grading, so the difficulty of exams doesn't depend on the paper but rather on your peers' capabilities of scoring.
Other: We don't have a closed campus, which is an issue that needs to be addressed. Also, the libraries are not big enough to accommodate the student crowd during exams. The overall fee is not too high.

Good placements. Must join college. Worth joining.
Placements: 85% of the students studying were placed. The highest package is 92 LPA, the average is 25 LPA, and the minimum is 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Google, Amazon, JLR, etc. About 5-6% of the students received internships, with top roles as SDE, DA, etc.
Infrastructure: The college offers good Wi-Fi connectivity and moderate infrastructure. There are no ACs in classrooms and no availability of properly working equipment. The food quality from the mess and canteen is good, and the medical facilities are also nice, with 24/7 ambulance service. Additionally, there are many clubs for sports and games.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good, with professors involved in research work. The course curriculum is relevant and helps make students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult, and an F grade signifies a failure.
Other: I chose this course because, according to my JEE rank, this was the best option available for me. The infrastructure and hostel conditions need improvement, which should be done at a higher pace. Aside from this, every event occurring in the college is amazing, like the fest.
