IIT Hyderabad: college review/placement/hostels/course.

Placements: Not many students were placed in core. If you or going for non core, placement was nearly 60% last year. Other people opted for higher studies/startups. Can't say much about the highest salary. Apple recruited one guy but he was doing double majors from CSE.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are top-notch. The library is still in the construction period. Hostel facilities are good. The cleanliness, quality it serves is up to the mark. Personal rooms with sharing are there. Every facility is available for students. Cant...

It is a preferable college over many others, and placements are also good.

Placements: The majority of the roles are in specific branches like computer science and engineering and mathematics and computing field. Our college follows a very critical schedule for the overall placement process compared to other colleges.

Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure is very well-planned and also attractive to many of us. Our college is located 50 kilometres away from the actual city. Hence it is not much preferably utilised yet. It does not have much related to sports activities.

College infrastructure lacks, only a few facilities available.

Placements: The placement depends on the CGPA. The highest salary is around 13 Lacs per annum and the average is around 7 Lacs per annum. Recruiting companion are Land Rover and Jaguar, Adobe, Microsoft, L&T, etc. If CGPA of a student is above 8.5 then he will have the chance to get an internship. The highest salary for CS course is 40 Lacs.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is excellent with a fast speed. Labs are good they contain a wide variety of equipment and instructors are good. Classrooms are large and are many in number. Decen...

Highly satisfied with the dynamic curriculum and fractals system that helps you take any course.

Placements: About 50% of the people (2020 passing out batch) from chemical engineering are placed by December 2019. The highest salary package offered would be 45 LPA. The lowest salary package offered would be 8 LPA. I'm not sure about the average salary because a lot of people are yet to be placed. Some of the top companies are Microsoft, HSBC, Goldman Sachs, BPCL, Adobe, Honeywell, etc. They offered roles such as process engineer, design engineer, software developer, data analyst. About 30% of them got i...

Good academic and research supporting institute but infrastructure and facilities can be better.

Placements: In the chemical engineering of IITH, around 15 students were placed, but most of them were placed in non-core companies like IT field and software companies. Top recruiting companies like Tata Research and Development, Vedanta, etc., visited our campus. Some students went abroad for higher studies. The highest salary package offered in our course is not revealed. About 50-60% of students from our course went for internships. Some companies, like Reckitt Benckiser, BR Specialist, etc., visited ou...

My Beautiful IIT Hyderabad.

Placements: Placements were decent. In the last placements the highest package offered was around 56 Lacs per annum in the computer Science engineering department, average package offered is 11 Lacs per annum for the entire college. Almost all the students were placed in the college.

Infrastructure: Recently all the students moved to the permanent campus in kandi. LAN connection in the hostel rooms are pretty good with a speed of 10 mbps and Wi-Fi in the academic block is also good. Grounds are not completely constructed a...

Dissatisfaction and satisfaction because of facilities in IIT Hyderabad.

Placements: Placements are less than old iits. Computer and electrical engineering students are getting reasonable package and nearly 80 percent placement. Mechanical and other departments are getting lower package and placement percentage is less. Internships for computer and electrical engineering is high comparing to others. There is a placement in the campus which has some rules.

Infrastructure: As it is a new IIT the infrastructure is not good. Only mess hostel buildings and academic buildings construction is complete...

Good faculty and placements. Amazing academic flexibility and has tons of activities.

Placements: The companies like Microsoft, Goldmann Sachs, TCS, PWC, BPCL, Infosys, and much more came for the placements. The highest package offered was around Rs. 30 lacs per annum (approximately top 10), and Rs. 6-12 lacs per annum as an average. There are internships in the companies like Snapdragon, IBM, Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, and Tata Steel. The stipend provided to the students was Rs. 20,000-50,000 per month as an average, and one lac per month for the top students.

Infrastructure: In the hostels, there are facilities like single occupancy hostels, automatic washing machine, and superfast LAN connections (upwards of 500 MBPS). The academic building is operational, and it has the facilities like superfast Wi-Fi, the library has subscriptions of over 50 international journals and a collection of over 1,00,000 books, state-of-the-art labs with modern equipment. Others facilities like 24x7 dispensary, pharmacy, ambulance services, sports complex are divided into 2 places. In s...

Best college for those who want to do research work.

Placements: Last year's placement scenario was quite good for all the departments. All the students from civil engineering department got either a job or higher studies opportunity. The highest package was around 35 lacs per annum and the average was 11 lacs per annum. Companies like Yahoo Japan, Microsoft, IBM, L&T, TCS, Amazon were the hiring companies. Students from electrical & computer science branches got many internship opportunities at the end of the 3rd year.

The college is very good with a good number of placements and facilities.

Placements: In the chemical department, nearly 70% of the people got placed with an average salary package of 13 LPA. The topmost recruiting companies are like Coromandel, Hindusthan Zinc, Vedantha, Nagarjuna fertilizers, HPCL, Aurobindo Pharma, Helium consulting, NFTDC.

Infrastructure: We are having all sorts of facilities like labs with sophisticated equipment, library with a good number of volumes, 24 hours internet facility, advanced classroom facilities with highly experienced faculty. The quality of food in a mess wil...
