IIT (ISM) Dhanbad Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: The placement stats of our course is very good. This year, almost 75-80% of students got placed on campus, and the rest got placed off-campus, and a few opted for higher studies. The highest package offered was around 45-48 lacs per annum, and the average package was around 15-20 LPA. Students from this course are placed in various fields like financial analyst, data analyst, web developer etc.

Placements: Internships are provided in companies like Microsoft, Google, etc., but only 10%-15% of students get them. The placement rate is about 70%, and there are decent placements. Core companies also visit here and hire students in mass recruitment. The electronics department is also much famous for research, so lots of opportunities are available for local students.

In Chemical Engineering, the highest package was 32 Lacs (Off- Campus), the lowest was 7 Lacs and average was 10 Lacs. Placements: Due to covid, the placement percentage this year is low, but around 85% of students in my course got placed. The highest package offered in our college was 43.11 LPA, the average package is around 12-15 LPA, and the lowest package offered is around 9 LPA. This year, two students got university calls for the research, in which one is from Stanford University, and the other is from the University of California San Diego and San Diego State. Placements: In IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, placements are very nice, and almost every senior got an average salary package of 10 LPA. Recently two of our seniors got selected in Bloomberg London with a salary package of 81 LPA and 90 LPA. Many 3rd year students got PPOs also in tech giants.

Infrastructure: Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we don't know much about the infrastructure. However, the facilities for the students are nice.

Placements: Placements are great for us as there will be 90% of placements in our course. All placements are good, and we are satisfied with them. There is also a dual degree in every course, which we can select if we want to do a dual degree course. It is provided only according to the GPA, so students who have a GPA of more than 8 will get it.

The highest package of 23 lacs has offered by an international company of japan named DG Takano and the lowest is approximately 6 to 7 lacs. About 70% of students got internships from our course in companies like Samsung, Wipro, etc. Most of the students who get selected for jobs are from computer science and engineering branch. Infrastructure: There are 2 different types of free Wi-Fi facilities. One is intranet Wi-Fi, which is available from 5:30 pm to 2:00 am, while the other type provides 1 GB internet for one phone number.
