There are really good infrastructure and facilities here.

Placements: IHM Shimla is one of the best colleges for hotel management. It comes under the central government college, which is located in Kufri, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. The salary offered to students after completing B.Sc in H&HA ranges from Rs. 25,000 per month to 1 lac per month. Top recruiting companies here are ITC Group, The Oberoi, Taj, Air India and many more. Our college provides above 90% placements through on-campus placements.

It is a good college and I will recommend to join them.

Placements: In our college, placement depends on the individual but hotel and retail sector there are lots of company which come for management trainee and operation trainee. If any students have good knowledge, then he can start his career as an MT. This year because of covid placements are below average, students can hope for best.

Infrastructure: The library is good with various books. The classrooms are also good, and well maintained. They provide good facilities to students. The food served in mess is very tasty, but s...

The college provides very good infrastructure and facilities for students.

Placements: Placements are nearly average. Many sectors like Quick Service Restaurant, retails and hotel companies come here for hiring students from entry-level to management trainee level jobs. Quality of placements is decreasing because of the decrease in the quality of students coming into this college.

Infrastructure: I would rate 5 stars for this college according to its facilities. Though the college is a central government institute, facilities provided are at par level with any other big reputed private colleges.

Placements: College provides internship and placements to maximum students. It is constantly working on improving itself. Atleast eighty percentage of students were placed. It is bit far away so some companies don't come but majority of them come. For the companies not coming to the college for placements, we are provided walk-ins.

Satisfied with the course, but not much exposure to the students who are interested in the kitchen.

Placements: Placement records in the college are good when compared to other hotel management institutes. Several five-star hotels and retail companies are invited for placements. The salary package offered is typical as offered by any hotels in India. The placement rate is more than 90%, and the rest of the students opt for further studies.

Infrastructure: If we talk about the infrastructure, just like any other government institutes, we have computer labs and auditorium, but there are no playgrounds as our college is located amid hills. We have various kitchens and bakeries. We have various advanced kitchen equipment. CCTV cameras are available in every rear corner to act as a concern for the security of the students and the institute. We have a cafeteria that offers snacks such as parathas, pakodas, samosa and sandwiches. Hostel rooms are spacio...

Placements: There were very good placements. Many companies came for the on-campus drive to give the best placements. Many companies like the Oberoi, ITC, Roseate, Raas have visited the campus and have joined the campus to enhance the placements procedure of our college. Placements: Placements are really good and opportunity is given to every deserving student, faculty supports the students regarding interviews and other things. College supports well during placements and there is 95% of placements via college and the great brands in the hotel industries come to take MT and OT from the college.

Infrastructure: The college is in Kufri, surrounded by the rich flora and fauna of Shimla and peaceful atmosphere. The classrooms are clean and well ventilated and equipped with central heating system during snowfall. Auditorium is quite large and can accommodate large no of students. Placements: The placements offered were very good here with various names in hospitality industry like Taj group of hotels, Oberoi, Marriott, Sayaji, Chaayos, Barbeque nation, DLF hospitality and Radisson Blu visited for the placement and offered decent packages. One should not expect high salary because the salary in the hospitality industry is initially low. Various retail companies visited for the campus placements like Tommy Hilfiger. The procedure for placements was not that difficult as companies visited the college and recruited the students accordingly.

So, they (the college) will send you to Chandigarh or Delhi on your expenses. For interview's, there are no placements for outside India.
