Overall, it's a good college for hotel management.

Placements: My college provides placement, but I am still in the second year, and the placement interviews start in the third year. Gathering information through seniors, I got to know that hotels like Trident, Taj Hotel, Oberoi Hotel, Hilton Hotel, and many other well-known hotels, as well as airlines and joints like Subways, McDonald's, and Starbucks, come for interviews at IHM Mumbai.

I am absolutely satisfied with the time I spent there and have learned a lot.

Placements: For a bachelor's course in an industry like hotels, the college made sure that every student was placed in hotels; other than that, many students were also placed in QSRs and corporate offices. The students were placed in classes of their choice. Any students who were not placed, were not placed because they didn't wish to be.

Good or bad, but it's my college!

Placements: There is a compulsory internship for 4 months in the second year, which can be done anywhere. The hotel should be a 5-star hotel; the front office, food & beverage service, housekeeping, and kitchen areas are given more importance during the internship. IHM conducts internship placements in the institute itself. Students who wish to do it outside Mumbai can do so.

It is a great college. It has a lot of facilities and has great faculty members.

Placements: Due to covid, not many students were placed, but looking at the previous years' statistics, there were great placements and a lot of hotels. There was a mandatory training part in the second year for all the students, which was mostly done in 5 star properties.

Good for Placements, but lacking elsewhere.

Placements: IHM Mumbai is regarded as one of the top Hotel Management colleges in India, and it is this belief that attracts not only luxury hotel chains like ITC Ltd or the Oberoi Group, but also companies from other sectors. IHM Mumbai is one of the first colleges that companies approach for recruitment which is why maximum offers are given to IHM Mumbai students. The recruiting scenario post Covid-19 is unclear, however before the pandemic majority of students would get recruited into the Sales Departmen...

Placements: Due to corona placements are low right now. But still, they are doing as much as they can. Previously 90% of students get placed in good places. Many hotels like Taj, Oberoi, Hilton, etc. Recruit interns from here as well. Students will get a good place to show their skills.

A really good institute for quality knowledge and education in Hospitality Management.

Placements: IHM MUMBAI has been one of the leading institutions in the field of Hospitality Education. Almost all the students get placed in different sectors I. e. Retail, Hotels, Human Resource etc. The average package offered is somewhat Rs 3.6-4 lacs. On paper, the package might not look that impressive but if you are selected for MT programme of a hotel this package nearly gets doubled after 1.5 years.
