Absolutely dissatisfied because of no placement system like engineering colleges.

Placements: After 12th board from Science background, one have to appear in entrance exam conducted by state medical faculty of west Bengal. You have to secure good score or rank in the exam to get admission in government medical colleges. There are total 13 departments and Radiography is one of them. In my department, there are 35 seats for one year in our departments. Two years Diploma course with 6 month internship, total duration 2.5 years. Only 2000 per month stipend is provided during internship peri...

Absolutely right college for Medical. Really good infrastructure and facilities.

IPGME&R is a professional career building platform.

Placements: The college, popularly known as IPGME&R, is a fully government-aided medical college. As MBBS is a professional course, every student is placed for a one-year compulsory internship. Being a professional course, every student is offered the same value professionally and economically. As it is a government medical college and hospital, there are no recruiters companies for the course. Almost 90% of students get placed on the basis of their academic performances and skills.

Infrastructure: The college is government-aided, so all the facilities and infrastructure required for the MBBS course are offered almost for free. Wi-Fi and well-oriented and good classrooms are available for students. Laboratories are available for each department. A large and accessible central library is present in my college. Our college authority provides us with well-oriented, neat and clean hostel for students who reside far from the campus. Our hostel is very nice, comfortable and accessible for studen...

I'm satisfied with the college. We have a good location, campus and food.

Placements: There are 200 students per year. Becoming a doctor is a dream come true for many students, and after completing it, you must get a job in a government or private hospital. The initial starting salary is between Rs. 45,000 and 70,000 per month, and for your own private practice, it depends on your skill and popularity.

Infrastructure: Our college has air-conditioners, a library, and classrooms. We have good food at the canteen, Rs. 45 per meal. Our class timings are from 9 am to 4 pm, and the library timings are ...

Placements: In MBBS, as you know there is no placement. You can practice with your license after passing MBBS. Courses offered in our college are MBBS, B.Sc. nursing, post-graduation, and BMLT. Everyone should go through a rotating internship after the third year part. A good amount of salary is given during the internship.

Placements: All students get a monthly salary of about Rs. 30,000 in the internship in the final year of MBBS course. Internships are compulsory for all students. After that, some students pursue higher studies for specialisation by attending the NEET PG exam while others can join as house staff of the hospital. There are plenty of jobs after passing MBBS.

IPGMER is a premier medical institute in India.

Placements: All students will have to complete a 1-year internship at the end of your 4 and half years course, where you will be given a monthly stipend of around Rs. 33,000. At the end of the MBBS course, you can either apply for post-graduation by writing NEET PG or apply for house staff ship in our college. Job opportunities after completing MBBS are ample.

The patient inflow is good here, and the campus is lush green.

Placements: After MBBS, we can do PG like MD or MS, Diploma DNB etc. We can also opt for non-clinical branches like teaching UG students. It takes a lot of courage to become a doctor, and it's worth it.

Infrastructure: The quality of food is very good. The hostel needs improvement. Medical facilities are very good. Sports are not that good, though we have a common room for games and extra activities. Visit our college once, and you won't be disappointed. It is one of the cleanest colleges in WB.

I recommend you to join this college to get the best experiences.

Placements: IPGMER is a medical college, so our placement does not depend upon any authority. We are self-employed. Every year 200 students get an entry in the MBBS course. Almost all students are sent to internships after completing the 4th year of MBBS course. In an internship, you are sent in a different ward as a junior doctor.

Infrastructure: IPGMER offers MBBS degree in 5 and half years of the course. There are 3 UG hostels and 1 PG hostels. The girls' hostel is available in the academic building with 5 minutes of walkable distance to lecture halls from our hostels. Classrooms are well-furnished and air-conditioned, and a projector is also available. There are 6 canteens in total. In all canteens, you can get food at a reasonable price for students and teachers. Best College for medical course in Kolkata, Supporting faculty with star grades.

Placements: In medical there is no such thing as placements. After completing your undergraduation MBBS you have to do your internship in the same college or enter as an extern in a different college. A hospital without an intern does not work and the infrastructure will collapse in a day. Therefore a lot of responsibility needs to be taken to act sincerely. Regarding stipend, the amount served is not sufficient according to the work you will do. Nevertheless once you complete your internship from this coll...

One of the Best Medical Colleges in Kolkata.

Placements: Although "placement" term does't have much relevance to the graduates of a medical college, I can surely say that I know many of my seniors who have passed MBBS from this college and have secured good ranks in MD/MS courses in NEET PG and AIIMS PG. All thanks to the college for building the foundation of the students.

Infrastructure: IPGME&R is popular in Kolkata for its infrastructure. It is said to be better than all other medical colleges of West Bengal. 1) Classrooms- Air conditioned. Although batch strength is 150, the Lecture Theaters definitely have the capacity of more than 150 2) Library- Air conditioned. 10am to 9pm open for reading. They have a good collection of books for borrowing. Sometimes they don't have the latest edition of books. I haven't explored the PG library yet but its thrice more beautiful and bigg...

Really good infrastructure and facilities, fed up with the teaching faculty.

Placements: The placements are pretty good. At least 70% of the students are placed among which the highest salary is 80000 and the lowest salary is 40000. no company as such visited the campass but they are offered jobs in various hospitals. Internship percentage is about 70 to 80% and the stipend given is constant which is 25000. there is no such thing call placement cell.

Infrastructure: The campuses fully Wi-Fi. The labs are pretty good, classrooms are spacious, library is good. The library supposed to be Centralised AC but the air condition never work and we have to manage with fan in summer season also. There is less space for sitting in the UG rooms allotted in the library. The quality of labs are pretty good, fully equipped and the faculty teaches well in the lab. Very good exposure and infrastructure.

Placements: There is a compulsory 1-year internship after the 4.5 years course which is sure to give the student a very good exposure as SSKM hospital is the only government multi-super speciality hospital in West Bengal. The campus placement is not a valid term for medical colleges. After completion of MBBS course, students may appear for NEET and PG examinations.

Infrastructure: It has undoubtedly the best infrastructure among all medical colleges of Kolkata. Regularly cleaned throughout the day and well maintained. Both girls and boys hostels are on the college campus. Hostels are allocated from the first year itself, unlike many other government medical colleges of Kolkata. Girls hostel is attached to the academic building. The hostels are all new and spacious. The lecture theatres are air-conditioned. The auditorium is new, capacious and beautifully designed.
