A balanced review of JECRC.
Placements: 80% of students get placed but a majority are in mass recruiter companies. The highest package is 51 LPA, and the lowest package is 4 LPA. The average package is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Amazon, Tech Mahindra, and Celebal Technologies. Mostly, companies are service-based and only some product-based companies visit our college and pick from only the top 5% of students. Roles like SDE, full stack developer, AI ML engineer, and scientist are offered.
Infrastructure: Only AIDS and mechanical have a block with a nice infrastructure. Other branch blocks are just satisfactory. There is AC in all classrooms. It has a poor Wi-Fi facility and a digital library which according to me is better than the majority of the 3rd tier colleges and it is just perfect. Hostel facilities are also good but limited seats are there. Neat mess and spacious rooms are there in both hostels. Medical facilities are not there as such, and only one or two ambulances are there for formality. Various sports and games are there. It is the best for cricket and volleyball players. It also has games like football and badminton.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. The strictness level is low which is kind of good. The teaching quality is moderate. The course curriculum is not at all relevant, and it will not make us ready for anything. We have to study extra and should seek guidance and support for placements and skills. Semester exams are of moderate level with almost 80% of pass percentage. They aren't tough to pass as RTU conducts the semester exam and repetition is there in question.
Other: I chose the degree because of my deep interest in tech and problem-solving. This field offers great opportunities to innovate and impact the real world. It should improve the integration of industry-relevant skills and real-time project exposure. Improvement in the RTU 20-year-old curriculum is much needed. Events are organsied. There are almost 2-3 events in a month of different clubs. The connectivity is nice. Surroundings are just as acceptable as it is in outer Jaipur. Scholarships are according to RTU.

It has great seniors and awesome fests.
Placements: Almost 80-90% of students from my branch got placed. The majority of them get on-campus placements with an average package ranging from 4-6 LPA. Major recruiting companies are Accenture and Capgemini. The most offered roles are junior developer or SDE.
Infrastructure: I am not a hostel student but I have heard that girls hostels have every facility like AC, geyser, and Wi-Fi. Talking about infrastructure, most of our classes have good lighting and proper ventilation. We don't have access to college Wi-Fi. Our labs are fully furnished and in good condition.
Faculty: We have well-qualified and helpful teachers. Some teachers are reluctant to approach us at first but still, they try to help us if we ask. In my opinion, The course curriculum is not relevant to our specialisation as we do theory more than practical studies. But semester exams in our college are not very hard and can be easily passed if we study for at least a week before exams.
Other: I chose this course as it is in demand and because of my interest in technology. But what I feel is college syllabus is not in resonance with what we actually have to do to be a good engineer. But our college offers a wide range of opportunities to students in both academic and non-academic areas. The college conducts various technical and cultural events almost every month.

My college is good but not that good.
Placements: In 2024 approximately 75% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered in 2024 is 32 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, TCS, Walmart, etc. Our college does not provide any internships and we have to find it ourselves. In my course, we offer so many roles like software engineer, web developer, data analyst, AI engineer, and cyber security engineer.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is average and decent. There are four departmental buildings and two grounds. There is a lab in our field, and classrooms are not that well. It has no whiteboards only chalk board. There is a facility of library which is only best thing in my college. It has so many books related to engineer and others.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are not so well. Some teachers are very good. They are very knowledgeable, but some are not well. They don't teach us well. Our curriculum is not industry-ready and should make it industry-ready. We have to study irrelevant things which are not used further.
Other: This is the only I got in my JEE percentile and there is no best thing in my college. All preparation is done by myself, college does not do anything, college should pay attention to this topic.

It has average infrastructure. ROI is okay. The faculty is not that good, but seniors are helpful.
Placements: Around 80% of students got placed last year. The highest package is 52 LPA in 2024. The average package is 4 LPA in our college. Accenture offers mass recruitment in our college. Maang and FAANG companies also recruit but we have to go for off-campus placements. Software engineer role is offered in the CSE course.
Infrastructure: All basic facilities are available like labs and classrooms. The auditorium and library are well-equipped. Bus facilities are available for Jaipur students. Girls' hostels are newly built with really good infrastructure. Food is also decent and room space and security are taken care of.
Faculty: The course curriculum is RTU-based and outdated. It focuses on rote learning. Exams are also more like board exams. Currently, I'm in the first year and that's what I've felt till now but maintaining a good CGPA is not that hard either. The pass percentage is more than 90%.

Review of Jaipur Engineering College & Research Centre.
Placements: The average package is around 4-5 lakhs, with the highest being off-campus at 52 lakhs. After completing 2-3 years, we are required to do an internship, which is compulsory. Starting in the third year, the placement cell begins to help students prepare for placements, and it is divided into two sections: onsite and offsite.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure. Sports activities are not very good. The library is good and the environment is best for studying. There is no Wi-Fi faculty in the college. They provide medical facilities in emergency cases. Labs are good. The canteen is open till 7 pm and after that, it closes. The hostel is okay.
Faculty: Every semester we have 2 mid-term exam levels that are good. The difficulty level of our exam is moderate as in mid-term. We already revised our subject and after that, they conducted a final exam and practicals. This college provides you with a state government degree RTU.
Other: This college also gives you a scholarship and provides funds for your idea.

Decent college with okayish facilities, placements and everything.
Placements: Good for placements if you are a woman or exceptional in your field. Almost everyone gets placed by the end of the semester, even if it's with a mass recruiter. The highest package this year is 55 LPA, and the lowest goes below 3–4 LPA. The top recruiters include Microsoft, Amazon, and HP. The top roles offered are Data Analyst and Development positions.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility doesn’t exist as far as I know. Labs and classrooms are decent, though quite historic. Men’s hostel is bad, while the women’s hostel is fairly decent. The food is decent enough. Sports culture barely exists, but there are proper grounds for sports. The computer labs are poor, using outdated computers and unreliable software.
Faculty: In my opinion, teachers don’t really care much about students, and most of them are just decent. Some of them forget that it’s a college, not a school. The course fee completely useless, as we study subjects like Chemistry, Civil and Mechanical Engineering, and Physics in the first year of Computer Science. Semesters are fairly easy to pass, except for Maths.
Other: There’s nothing good about this course, it’s just decent. I chose this course mainly for the decent placements, the syllabus, and better practical training instead of theory-based learning. Events are pretty okayish, and the campus crowd is decent. Scholarships a lot of them are given out. As for extracurricular activities, there are a lot of clubs for it that are actually pretty good.
