K J Somaiya Review from a first years POV.

Placements: I'm currently studying PGDM retail management in SIMSR. One of the main reasons why I joined SIMSR is the quality of the placement available here. Especially the retail management sector has a lot of opportunities here in terms of the job profile. My seniors batch (2018-20) had 100 percent placement in a summer internship. The final placement is at 99% last time. The company comes here from all sectors from marketing to sales to research.

Infrastructure: The institute is located at the centre of Mumbai, the financial capital of Indian. It brings large opportunities in terms of exposure and industry connect. There are six PGDM courses available in SIMSR. The courses are designed according to the latest trends in the market. Coming to the infrastructure, the campus has tremendous opportunity for sports. This institute is especially good if you are a sports enthusiast. You name the sport, SIMSR has the facility for it. The hostel accommodates all s...

It is a good college for MCA aspirants.

Placements: In the current year, about 50% of the students get placed till now, but every year all the students get placed from each course. Many good companies visit our campus for placements. Placements are very good compared to other colleges. One can expect the job role of project trainee or software developer.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. It has a huge campus with great facilities. Due to the pandemic, lectures are conducted online, but they are as good as in the normal classroom. We ...

Most of the factors of our college are quite good.

Placements: Our college has the best placement facility. As our college is well-reputed, it provides good opportunities for students to get placed in top companies. There are high chances to get placed, but it is purely based on student's performance in the selection process. Currently, about 25% of the batch got placed with the highest salary package of 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4.7 LPA. Top companies for MCA are Asian Paints, Nomura, General Mills, IV, etc.

Placements: The placement scenario of the college is good. More than 90% of the students in the senior batch were placed before December. As far summer placements are concerned, the process is still on, and the companies are frequently visiting the campus. The profile offered to the students is up to the expectations. The college is worth the investment of money and time.

Placements: Placements for our senior batch were good. There are plenty of placement opportunities for finance sector with good profiles including credit risk, financial analysis and ratings. The average salary package was around 9 LPA for seniors. SIP is a little worse due to the lack of profiles to a certain extent, and it is mostly due to the overall industry level. However, profiles offered for finance branch are good including M&A financial analyst etc.

Placements: I would say that the placements this year (2015-17) as well as of last year (2014-16) have been good and are improving year on year. The highest package converted is CTC Rs. 24 LPA while the average package is somewhere above CTC Rs. 9 LPA. Almost every student seeking placement secured a job from the campus last year (2014-16) and looking at the current situation, placements for this year (2015-17) might reach a 100% by end of January.
