I don't recommend this college to anyone because of its placements, teachers, and infrastructure.
Placements: The placement is very bad. Generally, mass recruiters like Infosys and TCS come to the college. They offer a very low amount of packages like 3 LPA to 4 LPA They also show very high packages for some students which are fake. You cannot expect a good package here. I will not recommend this college to anyone.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is a bit okay. They have a good library and labs but on the other hand, the classrooms are not cleaned properly. Classrooms don't have air conditioners. They conduct regular classes from 9-5 like we are doing a job.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are very passionate about teaching like 70%. They are qualified and have proper knowledge about what they are teaching but the main challenge is that you have to attend the lectures from 9-5 O'clock and as a day scholar you cannot manage time for your studies. The main problem is that AKTU University doesn't take papers on time and to pass you have to score 21 marks out of 70 marks in semester exams. Most of the faculty members are good and supportive but some of them are very strict they don't want to listen to children.
Other: The main problem in this college is 75% attendance criteria. You have to maintain your 75% attendance otherwise they will charge Rs. 400 for attendance below 75%. They take classes from 9 am to 5 pm which is very frustrating and you cannot do anything related to that.

Good college to take admission in and enjoy college life.
Placements: Almost 73% of students get placed. The highest placement package is 12 LPA and the lowest is 3.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, and others. So far, almost 50 to 60 students have get internships in my course. The top roles are data analyst, data supervisor, consultant, and many more.
Infrastructure: My hostel facilities are quite poor. They don’t solve your problems even after you complain for a long time. Wi-Fi facility is bad, and the mess food can be called near clean but lacks taste. Our hostel is on the college campus, so we have plenty of grounds and places to play.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and supportive, but the management of our college is too bad. Even our faculty members are not satisfied with the college management. They often criticize facilities and management system of our campus. Our semester exams are hard.
Other: I see hope in this field, and with my passion, I think I can definitely achieve good results in the coming days of my life. Events for my course, specifically B.Tech, are too bad. They show partiality towards other courses.

It is a decent college. It is not bad or good.
Placements: About 90% of students did not get placements or get an annual package of less than 3.50 LPA, so it's better to try for outside placements instead of college placements, which is very bad. Companies that came to college are Infosys and others with low standards.
Infrastructure: The college hostel has great facilities with a high-rise building and a great view. There is a decent room, and not that good. The building contains a mess and also has vending machines. The mess food menu has different varieties every day.
Faculty: Sometimes, many professors leave the college in 2-3 months, which is a problem. The college takes 2 sessions each semester. They send marks to the parents' numbers, so students should be careful before giving their family members numbers.

The college is above average, and I am absolutely satisfied.
Placements: About 75% of the students are placed in my course, which is B.Tech (CSE). The highest package offered in this course is 15-20 LPA on campus, and 95 LPA off-campus. Amazon, Byjus, Wipro, TCL, Flipkart, and many more are the top recruiters of this course. About 65% of students get internships in companies like Amazon and Wipro.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is actually quite good, Wi-Fi is available in every classroom, which is good, and AC is provided in every classroom. The library is open 6 days a week, up to 11-12 hours per day. The hostel facilities are good, but the mess food is not just like home, but it's pretty well.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified, and supportive. Some of them are Ph.D. holder in their subjects, and qualified from IITs and NITs. Their teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it's helpful to make students industry-ready. Semester exams are above moderate level, but the institute is strictly against any unfair means, and if caught, UFM will be applied to that particular candidate.

This college is good for admission.
Placements: Only 5% of students get placed that too on a low package. The highest package is 5 LPA. Local companies visit the college most probably. There are no internships. No roles are offered in the college, and all we have to do is on our own. Off-campus placement is all we have to get.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure is provided in the college and hostel. Good food is served in the hostel. The best thing about KCC is its hostel. College has now installed AC in every classroom, and before, it was not there. Now, the infrastructure is well-developed in KCC.
Faculty: There are strict guidelines on attendance and discipline. Exams are mandatory in the college. The semester is 4 months. There are lack of teachers in the college system and students are not allowed to attend classes if their attendance is low they have to pay a fine amount.
Other: Students can try it as it is a not bad college. It is improving day by day.

Satisfied with the college. Not so much rush. Good college.
Placements: This year batch is quiet good. Students gets good package at a average of 3lakh to 5 Lacs. Acc. To me 38% of students gets intern in good companies. Most of the students are intern in IT fields. AC is available for 2nd year students. Pass out is really best helpful and get intern in good companies at good package.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quiet good but not that so good. AC is not available for 1st year student. Wi-Fi quality is good. Small grounds for sports. College hostels mess is best. Hostel having 9 floors in which starting 4 floors are of girls and others are of boys.
Faculty: Faculty members are very understandable. Clear the doubt of the students and also helps in every situation related to stress and all. Semester exams are average easy for students who studies and hard for those who don't study. There are also many clubs which helps the students in many field like in marketing and in stage management etc.
Other: I prefer B. Teach to job in IT sector as I am interested in computer and coding. Quality of sports should be improved. Events are?

Q:   Is B.E. / B.Tech at KCC Institute of Technology and Management a good choice?
    A:
    {Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Is BE/BTech at KCC Institute of Technology and Management a good choice?

Based on various reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's an overview of the pros and cons:

    Positive Points:
    * Helpful Faculty: Students praise the faculty members' dedication, knowledge, and willingness to help. Most teachers hold PhDs and have experience in the industry.
    * Industry-Ready Curriculum: The course curriculum is relevant, preparing students for the industry. Several students reported receiving job offers or securing internships due to the college's connections.
    * Good Placements: Around 70-80% of students reportedly get placed every year, with top companies like Accenture, Infosys, Amazon, and TCS visiting the campus. Average salaries range from INR4-INR6 LPA, with some packages reaching up to INR15 LPA.
    * Decent Infrastructure: The campus has a mix of old and new buildings, with adequate facilities like libraries, labs, and sports grounds. Hostel accommodation is available, although some students mentioned issues with food quality.
    * Annual Festivals: KCCITM organizes an annual festival called "FUEL" featuring celebrity performances, providing entertainment and networking opportunities for students.
    * Scholarships: Merit-based scholarships are available, and the college also offers special benefits for students with disabilities, Jammu & Kashmir residents, and those from economically weaker backgrounds.

    Negative Points:
    * Hostel Food Issues: Some students complained about the poor quality of food served in the hostel mess.
    * Limited Internships: While the college claims to offer internships, several students mentioned having to find their own internship opportunities outside the institution.
    * Difficulty in Clearing Exams: Some students reported struggling to clear internal exams, citing difficulties in adjusting to the college's academic environment.
    * Limited Sports Facilities: Although the college has sports facilities, some students felt they weren't adequately utilized or supported.

Conclusion: Based on student feedback, BE/BTech at KCC Institute of Technology and Management seems to have both strengths and weaknesses. While the faculty, curriculum, and placement record are generally positive, concerns about hostel food, limited internships, and difficulty clearing exams may affect individual experiences. Ultimately, prospective students should weigh these factors before deciding whether KCCITM is the right fit for them.
