The college is extremely professional and well-organised.

Placements: The college doesn't provide many placement opportunities, but it helps students by providing them with free courses, enrolment in coaching classes and TTC training. However, the college is trying to expand its control and opportunities for students.

Infrastructure: The college building was built in the early 1900s, which gives a spectacular impression of British architecture. It makes the college experience more beautiful. It also has many modern blocks which have well-equipped bathrooms, sports room and hostels...

Loreto College - Student life overview.

Placements: Loreto College provides undergraduate degrees to students majorly in the field of arts and economics. Recently the Masters programme for certain subjects were opened for the students. So the kind of courses offered need to be back by industry practice which is not available in the college. There are not many placement opportunities. No proper placement cell. Students need to look for summer internships by themselves. So I feel there needs to be improvement here.

Infrastructure: We had one main academic building...

The faculty and facilities at Loreto College.

Placements: Placements every year on an average is 2- 4 LPA. Last year it was 6-7 LPA ( Lacs per annum. ). This year it's 7.6-8 LPA. Red Bull company had given some students of our college the opportunity to be promoters of their drink during our fest. They would distribute free drinks and the students promoting the drink would receive a considerable amount for this job.

Infrastructure: Library is very rich in source and updated. Computer lab is good with sufficient desktops for the class. Health camps are put up in every f...

Campus life is not too exciting since we have extended hours of college which includes academic.

Placements: There were no placements in college, which was the reason after the completion of graduation, students need to find jobs themselves. The same goes for internships also. Our batch was outstanding. Everyone got admission in well-known universities as many of us got first class.

Infrastructure: There is a common room in which there are types of equipment for gym, badminton and carroms. There are computer labs and a well spacious library. Food is very reasonable here and also tasty. There are spacious and well-venti...

Review of Loreto College.

Placements: Almost 80% of students are placed, and the rest 20% is still pursuing their masters. Loreto College is well-known all over the world, and I am happy to be a part of this world of excellence.

Infrastructure: Loreto College provides all kinds of facilities like Wi-Fi in all of the floors, laboratories for both geography and psychology, the library with daily newspapers, books, magazines, articles related to every genre, medical facilities, restroom, sports fields are available on the campus. Quality of foods in th...

An amazing institute where the values of discipline are well inculcated in all.

Placements: The placement opportunities in the college are not that great as there is no placement cell. Few companies like Deloitte, Zomato visited the college in the past and hired a few students who are happily still working there. Most students opt for higher studies after completing their education here.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are very spacious, and the windows are huge. The library is very well stocked. There are many sports options to choose from like TT, carrom, badminton, etc. Even gym equipment is also availab...

I am satisfied with the course curriculum and the discipline and values they instil to the students.

Placements: The college does not offer placements at this level for the students. The college did not take much of an initiative in getting students placed. I would recommend them to look into it and enable students to get a suitable offer at bachelors level too.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is fairly good. It is not built on a huge plot, but it is well designed such that space is properly used. The college provides proper classrooms, fully functional library and a canteen for students. The college also...

The city's best when it comes to English.

Placements: The placement sector is quite underdeveloped because most of the students opt for master's. Although Cognizant did come, the offers weren't good enough. Since most of the students opt for higher studies, the college is quite slack about the placements. It would be better, however, if this sector is developed, as it gets difficult for the students who want to discontinue their studies and get a job.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are spacious and the college is very well maintained. There is a ground as well as a basketball court, and a lot of importance is given to sports and other such activities. The campus is extremely clean and has a very charming appeal. The library is the best place to be at, well stocked with books of every curriculum. However, using mobile phones is banned once you enter the college, so there is no question of availability of Wi-Fi. The canteen, too, is very hygienic and the quali...

Hi Shivani,
You should visit College Street, Kolkata. You will get all the previous year’s problems book there. College street is the Big Bazaar for all types of books. If you are not in Kolkata, then you should visit the nearby market and purchase them from there.
