The place where dreams get fulfilled.

Placements: The highest package offered in our batch was 12 lakh rupees by top companies like Reliance Industries, Aditya Birla Group, Tata Group, Arvind Mills, and Madurai Fashion & Lifestyle. The lowest package in a few companies was 6 Lacs rupees. The average was about 8 lacs.

Infrastructure: In the academic area, we have a classroom, library, lab, and seminar hall. In the hostel, we have single- and double-occupancy rooms. We have a common room where there is a TV and games. We have a mess with vegetarian and non-vegeta...

Our college has excellent faculty members who shape the industry.

Placements: In our college, almost 85% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month and the average salary offered is Rs. 24,000 per month to Rs. 35,000 per month. Top roles offered are textile design, fashion design, accessory design, digital work, etc.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi doesn't work most of the time. The infrastructure for the course is good. The library has a lot of useful research books and fashion magazines. There are many computer labs. The...

Our college needs genuine Improvement.

Placements: Almost 80% of the placements are provided in this course. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. Companies like Infosys, Nalli, H&M, Nalli, etc., recruit students from NIFT Bengaluru. Companies look for skills that are taught in photography, stylish, and a visual merchandising during the course.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi hardly works, and when it does, the connectivity is so less. The classrooms are so less technically equipped. The tables always hurt studen...

Our college has very good and experienced faculty members with top-notch infrastructure.

Placements: Most seniors I know have got job placements here after studying. Since the start of your semester is pretty difficult, the pressure starts and makes you well-equipped for the industry. The college has a graduation program that's considered semester 8, and they prepare you for jobs and placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is right up there, with attractive visuals on every wall that catch the eye. The canteen food while is a little less on the quantity side, the quality side is off the charts. They have...

Our college has potential to improve.

Placements: Fashion communication has a class of 30-40 students amongst a batch of 200. As a fresher student yet to complete the course, I do not have experience in acquiring placements but to my knowledge, the average package can go from around 3 LPA to 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies include More, H&M, Decathlon, Monte Carlo, and various other organisations, and national and international. Internships are offered during the 3rd year and can be taken abroad as well. Roles offered include graphic designers...

The obstacles come to students' way very often, but they learn to overcome it.

Placements: In this college, our seniors are at good firms. Trident and Ikea are some companies that offer jobs here. Students need good networking to know more about the placements, but it is central during placements.

Infrastructure: In this college, the hostel is good, security is tight, food is average, often spicy, but there is good thali available. The security is friendly, the warden checks in for attendance every day, and overall safety is guaranteed. The security is strict about timings.

It is costly for nothing, but the faculty members are friendly.

Placements: This year, pass-out seniors are not satisfied with placements. They said no company came for placements. They have to look on their own or either try in Internshala or LinkedIn. It is totally disappointing. I am just scared for our batch placements and future.

Infrastructure: The hostel is conjusted. There are no air-conditioners in classrooms and broken chairs. The hostel infrastructure is not that great, and we shared a 2 people room with 3. It charges Rs. 7,500 for each person for just a small corner with a b...

One of the finest place to study fashion.

Placements: Internships are mainly from garment manufacturing companies in Bangalore, Mysore etc. Students got placements according to their academic performance and professional skills. Garment industry is competitive than any other industry. NIFT students are exposed to industry from the start of their classes.

Infrastructure: We have unlimited Wi-Fi in the campus. Hostel is only for girls. We have Mac labs and labs for pattern making and garment construction. Library is available for 6 days a week. Online library is ther...

Placements: Around 80% of the students from our course got placed through on-campus placements. The highest salary package offered in our course is 5 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are mostly export houses. Top roles offered in our course are print designers.

Placements: I passed out of NIFT Bangalore in the year 2017. The campus placement was average. Not everyone in my batch got placed through campus placement. But eventually, everyone got a job offer within 3 months. The highest package (Domestic) - 9 LPA, the highest package (International) - 21 LPA and avg Package (Domestic) - 3.6 LPA, the lowest package (Domestic) - 2.4 LPA. If you want to be in the industry, then it is NIFT.

Placements: Placements in the college are fine as most of them get placements from the companies. Others mostly get placed at good companies. Any high-end brands don't visit the campus for placements. However, you can definitely apply for it individually, i.e., not through college but by your own merits. NIFT itself is a big name anywhere, so most people are looking to hire NIFT students in the industry. The salary package offered is not high, i.e., 3-4 LPA. But that's just the beginning, and the rest depen...

NIFT has a lot of potentials to be the best, but it still requires improvement.

Placements: Placements weren't great in 2016. Very few students from our class got a job through campus placements, and even I was one of those because of the specialised field I have pursued. Companies that visited our college weren't great, and NIFT is well known for providing good jobs. The college-level is degrading, and they are unable to invite good companies for placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was great though it was a very small campus but loved the building. I wish there were ground to...

Review of National Institute of Fashion Technology, Bangalore.

Placements: Placements in our college are pretty decent. As usual, design students didn't get a high package initially, since the fashion industry is more concerned about the experience. So, the better experience you have, the better you will be paid. The salary package offered to an undergraduate is in between 7 LPA to 10 LPA. Our college holds a reputation amongst the fashion industry as it is India's premier institute of fashion, so much effort is not required for the students to get the internship.

Good infrastructure. Placements could be improved.

Placements: Placements were fine. Still college can keep a check on minimum pay scale offered by the recruiters. Almost everyone who SAT for placements got placed. The starting package was around 2.4 LPA and the highest grabbed was 5 LPA. College should be wise to welcome the companies that come for placements.

Infrastructure: It's a well planned architecture. Small but apt to accomodate all the departments and hostels. There are respective workshops for all the departments. The labs are well-equipped. The library is huge ...

One of the best design institutes.

Placements: The college offers good placement prospects with an effective placement cell. Good brands come for college placement or you can select a job acc to your own interest. The placement percent is over 90% with the average package around 3.5-4 Lacs per annum. The highest goes around 6-7 Lacs.

Infrastructure: Though set in a limited space, the infrastructure is applaudable. Boasting of a well designed and beautiful campus, the college has state-of-the-art labs for all departments with updated machines and software. T...

Few small companies came for recruitment with salary from 2.5-5.5 per annum. Even very few candidates were accepted. A review on National Institute of Fashion Technology, Bangalore.

Placements: The placements in our campus are good. Almost all the students get pre-placement offers from the companies they intern for in the final semester. But, if they don't get pre-placement, a lot of companies come to the campus for placement. Almost 90% of the students get jobs from campus placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very nice. It is very small, but beautiful and well designed. It is designed in the principle of the golden spiral. The classrooms are spacious with Wi-Fi facilities. ...

Satisfied because of the course schedule. We can gain good knowledge from the faculty.

Placements: Many seniors are not placed. There are many placement opportunities due to the presence of many textile giants in Bangalore, but not all are placed. It depends on the individual's skill set. One thing is for sure that, the placements are good and the average salary package is more than expected too.

Great college with great opportunities.

Placements: The placements are fine. There is not much saturation in the industry. The industry is already filled with our alumni, and the companies will demand the students from the specialised backgrounds to work rather than hiring engineers. High profile companies hire the students. The packages are fine to start with.

Infrastructure: The college campus is small but is built beautifully. The campus is made in a spiral form and utilises the maximum area. The wall paintings are done by students every year. All the blocks a...
