Top recruiting companies are RBL, Arvind, Vardhaman Textile, Raymonds, H&M, etc. Top roles offered are apparel production manager, quality manager, garment merchandiser, and warehouse manager.

Review of National Institute of Fashion Technology.

Placements: Placements are very good from Mumbai, Bangalore, or Delhi for the students with good marks. There are higher chances of getting a good placement. Around 70% of students got internships.

Infrastructure: Course is very good with facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library. Lab coordinators are very good and helpful. Hostel for girls is very good and for boys is above average. Canteen food is very good, takes proper care of hygiene.

I am satisfied with the placements but dissatisfied with the salary packages offered.

Placements: Almost every student gets placement but the initial package offered is very little. The highest salary package offered was 18 LPA. But not everyone gets such packages. Companies like Raymond, Arvind, etc., offer placements. Some students get into the industry while some prefer going for higher studies.

Infrastructure: NIFT Mumbai has one of the best campuses among all the NIFTs. Every classroom has air-conditioners. The campus has Wi-Fi as well. Due to covid, college is not providing hostel and canteen facilitie...

I am dissatisfied with the course, college and faculty members.

Placements: Due to Covid-19, placements are still not organised. But if we see placements of last year students, they either not placed or placed with a very low package. Placements in our college are below average.

Infrastructure: NIFT Mumbai campus has everything. Our college provides facilities like the best resource centre, Wi-Fi connection and new building have a centralised air-conditioner. The hostel facility is well-maintained, and the quality of the food served is excellent. Our college provides labs in our course like pattern making lab and garment construction lab. A testing lab is also available in other departments that we can use by taking permission. Different kind of machines is available here, which we use...

It is not worth a course, because at last you will get the knowledge, but you will not get the job.

Placements: Almost 100% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, and the average salary package offered ranges between 5-6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Shahi Exports, Vardhman, Orient Craft, Arvind, etc., visit our campus for placements. It is the best fashion institute in India.

Placements: NIFT is a pioneer in style training in India. Undergraduate designing and fashion communication are the best courses here, which doesn't mean the master courses are less. MFM (Masters in Fashion Management) is a knowledgeable and ideal course for the individuals who need to work in style retail, showcasing and PR. Placements totally depend on students capabilities.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is fairly lavish from the benchmarks of an administration foundation. You will be truly stunned by the etiquette a...

It was not at all good enough because of its placements.

Placements: It was not at all a nice experience getting placed through the placement cell of our college because I got placed in a fraud company. There were no desktops to work, no office. It was a store without even a washroom to use. There were no head designers to guide me, and I had to resign it as there was no chance of getting any good exposure for learning any practical work. It affected my career very badly that I had to change three companies in the search for a good one, and I'm still looking for ...

It is a good college for real fashion world experience.

Placements: Placements in the college were good as compared to our senior batch. Moreover, most of the students of our batch got pre-placement offers from their respective companies in which they were doing their graduation project. The highest salary package offered was ranged between 25-30 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was ranged between 15-20 LPA. Most of the companies were for styling and visual merchandising, and there were few numbers of companies for textile and fashion.

Placements: Placement offers given by the college or the department are very poor. They do not provide you with much aid. However, majority of the population opts out of this and prefers looking for their own thing so at to satisfy their wants in a better way. The teachers tend to help out in certain cases but that solely depends on favouritism.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good because the college provides us with a lot of labs and classrooms that are well maintained with up to date gadgets. The college also provides ...

Come enjoy the college life with best faculty members, facilities and go with the best placements.

Placements: NIFT graduates are demanded mostly in the industry. Every year, many companies and brands like Max, Arvind Mills, Globes, etc., come to the campus at the end of the year and take deserving students with them. Last year, 88% of the students got jobs before graduation from the college. The highest package offered was 28 LPA and not only placements, but some companies offer internships also, and the student completes his/her course, they offer them jobs if deserving. From last many years, NIFTians ...

Good placements and infrastructure.

Placements: The placements of last year were very decent in which packages were going as high as 16 LPA, and the average students were easily able to get around 7-8 LPA placement. Firms from other countries have also visited for the internship, and mostly all the students have got a pretty decent job.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good, and the college has Wi-Fi facilities for the students and well-designed computer labs which can be accessed anytime. There is a library. Also, there is a hospital con...

National Institute of Fashion Technology, Mumbai.

Placements: NIFT, Mumbai promises the best placements in the industry. Almost 99% students get placed with the packages as per the industry standards. The industry internship helps the students to understand the demands and needs of the industry from a fashion graduate. They are taught to work under those conditions which would help them survive in the industry in the future.

Infrastructure: NIFT, Mumbai was established in Mumbai, initially in Dadar and later it was shifted to Navi Mumbai. The campus is located in a very serene location. A place which makes peace with nature. All the labs are well occupied with the equipment as per the departmental needs. The resource centre offers a wide variety of books to refer. The entire college provides a free Wi-Fi facility. There is a well-equipped gym on the campus for the students, and it can be accessed with a nominal fee of Rs. 250 per ...

An average college that produces the designers.

Placements: In 2017, the placements were not satisfactory. Very few companies visit our college, but they did not offer good packages. Due to this reason, most of my seniors didn't attend the placements, and the ones who attended didn't get placed in any company. The package offered during the placements are always low, and hardly 5% of the students get the jobs in the placements.

Infrastructure: The buildings are well-planned, and each department has their space. There is Wi-Fi facility on the campus. The computer labs are well-equipped, but the systems do not have a proper antivirus because sometimes the discs and pen drives get corrupted. The medical insurance has been provided to all the students. The labs are good. In the past few years, the seats for the candidates in some departments have increased, but space and the number of labs are same. This creates a hustle. There are too ma...

Satisfied with this college.

Placements: The placements are not great. Every year, the number of students getting placed is reducing. The students had to search for the internships and placements by their own. The faculty help is low, and very few of them have contacts in the industry. Sometimes, they do get placements, or else the situation will be bad.

Infrastructure: The latest building has a great infrastructure. The campus is enabled with the Wi-Fi facility and centralised A/C. The resource centre is huge. The hostel facilities are great. The old ...

Really good infrastructure and course curriculum.

Placements: Although this centre is the best for placements, the offers in it are underwhelming. The salary starts from 13k. The positions are limited and disappointing. There are a few good brands though. The management courses see the better placements. Brands like reliance, shoppers stop and Maxx are also seen coming to the campus.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are spacious with state of the art technology and machines. The labs are huge and well-maintained. The mess food is okay, basic but hygienic. The hostel rooms ar...

Come here for your interest and not for the brand name of NIFT.

Placements: Every year, the placements of the college are declining. The students are forced to attend the recruitment process of the companies which offer lower salary packages of Rs. 2 lakhs to Rs. 3 lakhs. These packages are very less as compared to the subsequent previous year packages. The fee is rapidly increasing by 10 percent every year which tells that it is not a good course to opt as you have to pay more fees. The scholarships are also very less for the institution as most of them are given to ot...

Not a good choice to opt career. Don't go for the brand, go for your interest and skills.

Placements: Earlier the placements were good at decent packages. But the scenario, has been changed. The students are not getting decent packages, and students have to attend for the salary packages of 2-3 lakhs per annum also. Then also all the students are not getting campus placements. Only 10-15 students are getting campus placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, but the total area of the campus is too small. It is more like a school rather than a college. The campus is too small, but the life is good her...

Placements: The placements are pretty good. Probably all major fashion brands/companies (like Raymond's, Sitaram, Jinny and Zohnhy, Addidas etc., visited the campus and also many export houses with a very good package. NIFT gives almost 99% of the placements. Also some students got pre-placement offer from the company in which they have done their project-work. The best college for fashion in India.

Placements: Placements are quite good. The average package revolves around 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. In 2016, two of the students got placed at a great package of 24 lakhs per annum in Dhaka. Top companies like Spyker, Reliance, etc visit the campus. There are many foreign companies from Dhaka and Bahrain who visit the campus for placements. Placements: The placement percent is 70-90% and companies offer moderate to high salary packages. Well-known companies from apparel, export houses, and e-commerce companies visit for recruitment. Internship opportunities are wide only if you have contacts of your seniors, any company person, or mentors.

Infrastructure: Well-kept and equipped library. There is a basketball court and a volleyball court. There are air-conditioned classrooms with all the modern amenities for the students....
