If you couldn't go to an IIT, come to NITJ.
Placements: I am a 2024 batch pass out from B.Teach Civil. Almost 50-60% of students were placed in my batch in my course. The highest package offered was around 14 LPA by Amazon, but the median package was 6-6.5 LPA only. Companies like Amazon, Delivery, and Flipkart offered non-core placements. For core placements, there was Technip, Aarti Industries, and PSU like BPCL and Mecon.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great. Facilities like libraries, reading rooms, labs, gyms, student activity centers, and canteens. There are specified timings for the usage of indoor facilities like reading rooms and libraries. Centralized AC is nearly at all indoors except hostels.
Faculty: Teachers are well-equipped with knowledge, with almost each of them having a doctorate in their subjects. Industrial training lectures are held timely. A minimum E grade (4 GPA) is required to pass a subject. As per the current scenario. Exams are held twice: mid-sem (30% weightage) and end-sem (50% weightage). The remaining 20% is assignments and tutorials.

My bright future with NITJ
Placements: There is a placement percentage of 95%+ of students in the college. The highest package is 15 LPA, and the average is 9 LPA. There is a TPO Placement Cell that invites new companies and helps in the placement of students of NIT Jalandhar. Our students work hard.
Infrastructure: Our hostel is good, and the food supply is also the best daily. Mess workers also serve food in proper ways. The whole mess system is completely good. The mess workers’ nature is also good, and their behavior with all the students is good. Food quality is also the best.
Faculty: Teachers completely help the students in their studies and make the students more proficient and the best. Semester exams are not very difficult, and the pass percentage is 90%+. All the teachers help the students solve doubts and assist in the placement procedure.
Other: There are so many events organized by the college for entertainment purposes.

Less placement but good college life.
Placements: The placement scenario for the 2024 batch has been quite average. Approximately 33% of the students have secured placements. This average placement rate underscores the programme and it need to be improved in upcoming future. The highest package offered to a student from this batch was impressive 18 Lacs per annum. This reflects that the highest package is good. On the there hand the lowest package is 7 Lacs per annum which is also quite satisfying, mostly the students were placed in IT sector and very less core companies came er.
Infrastructure: The college features state-of-the-art lecture halls equipped with multimedia projectors, audio- visual aids, and comfortable seating chair, our college also had advanced laboratories and have all the machines, but many machines were old and not in working conditions. So the need of new machines is required in our institute overall the hostels and campus is quite good.
Faculty: Exams are known for their rigour, testing not only student's knowledge but also very hard to pass here. The exams are easy, but the checking of answers sheet is relatively very hard to pass the examination, so the professors here use the concept of relatively marking criteria and grading, and moderation of grades take place here in order to pass the students otherwise the pass percentage is less than 70%. The professors are knoweldgeful and helpful when reach to them. But many professors are strict here so be careful.

I love my college! Hostel life is fun, new city feels adventurous—ECE folks, come join me!"
Placements: My department is ECE, so I know more about the electronics field. This year, our placement graph was quite impressive; students from my department were placed in Google, Microsoft, and Amazon. The highest package was around 12 LPA, while our average package was 13 LPA
Infrastructure: Talking about departments and classes, ECE has the best building on campus. Our lecture theater classes are excellent, and the SB classes are good too, but I like LT more. The labs and other facilities are decent, and thankfully, the Wi-Fi works most of the time.
Faculty: Exams are quite difficult I mean they're pretty good but the faculty makes it worse to pass the exam. Even though the exams and subjects are easy because of classes one after one we didn't get the proper time for breaks and rest so it kind of got difficult at the end of the semester.
Other: I love the college! I've never been outside my city before, so now that I'm in a hostel in another city, it's actually quite adventurous. I've made some great connections, which is what matters to me. The fests are nice, and there are a lot of clubs to join.

Absolutely satisfied with the college life I lived. Good infrastructure, hostel rooms must be AC.
Placements: Almost 90% of students get placed from all the eligible ones. The highest package offered is 18 LPA, and the lowest salary is 5 LPA. PSUs are top recruiters. In civil engineering, students have to find internships on their own if they want to work in any private organisation. But the faculty members are very helpful if students want to research internships. Top roles in civil engineering are basically technical management training and graduate engineer training.
Infrastructure: Hostels are well-built with Wi-Fi facilities. Libraries are new with all the Wi-Fi and LAN facilities. Classrooms are really neat, clean, and spacious. Talking about the food in hostel, it's really good. Just feel like home internal dispensary is there if students are facing any issues even late night. Ambulances are always there. Staff is very supportive. NIT Jalandhar promotes sports at a very good level.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They are always available for students. They teach all the things that are related to our curriculum. Talking of the difficulty of semester exams, they are not that much difficult exactly what that difficult is teaching in your classroom.
Other: The teaching and atmosphere are engaging students don't feel like they are away from home. It's overall learning with fun and knowledge. One thing I would like to say, we should improve is site visits, or in hand experiences except for the labs.

The campus is very beautiful, and the environment is also very great.
Placements: Placement is average. The highest placement is 16 LPA by Trident, and the lowest placement is 5 LPA by Vedant. They are some good companies: Trident, Reliance, and Vardhaman core companies. You also have opportunities in the IT sector. Placement mainly depends on you; if you have good academics, then your opportunities increase. The average placement percentage for students is 70 to 80%.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is all good, with classrooms and good buildings for the department. However, there is average performance in sports infrastructure. There are also good canteens and a good environment on the campus. The whole campus is green, and really, it’s a beautiful campus.
Faculty: Difficulties are average, and there are some issues in communication with faculty members for South Indians due to language barriers and other factors. But after all, the education is good, and their methods of teaching students are also good. Everyone is focused and communicates well. Exams do not have a good pattern, and it is also difficult to manage the pattern of the examination.
Other: Everything is good, and if you are selected in this college, then you have opportunities to become a good engineer and develop good skills and growth in your career.
