Placements: Overall, it's good. In CSE and IT, 100% of placements are available for the last few years. The highest package offered last year was 45 LPA by Microsoft. The average package for all branches is 10.5 LPA and 15-16 LPA for CSE and IT. Many companies visit NITK every year. Last year, the count is 260+. The top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Amazon, Cisco, Walmart, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, and many more. In our course, the main roles offered are software development engineer etc.

Placements: I think placements are very good in my college as heard about them while talking with my friends. It is very good option choosing NITk for placement purpose. Our seniors got even packages of 25-60 lakhs per annum. 100% guarantee placements are provided to the students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good as we have courts for every game and even we have a swimming pool building which is kept very neat and clean and hope you can like it.The labs are very neat. We get Wi-Fi with 25 GB a day.

Placements: Almost 100% of the student from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 55 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Google India, Amazon and Sprinklr visit our campus for placements. Top roles, like software engineer and software analyst, are offered to the students. About 70% of the student got an internship in companies like Microsoft, Amazon, L&T, etc.

Infrastructure: The college provides a huge LHC classroom with Wi-Fi, projector and a beach view from the window. Our department building has labs which are secured with biometric. The college provides two huge sports complex with badminton, table tennis court, basketball court and football, cricket and tennis ground. It has a central e-library. Placements: Well, I am still in the first year, but I'll try to give all the information that I know. This year, the highest package offered was 36 LPA. The placement percentage is more than 95 in all the departments except mining. The average salary all over is around 10-13 LPA. When it comes to departments, the computer science got the highest average, i.e. 18 LPA. There is also a placement cell here which according to the feedback given by my seniors here, works sufficiently enough.

Infrastructure: The institute is almost sixty years old. So, we obviously can't expect the infrastructure to be modern. But, many departments got new buildings recently (chemical, computer science, and mechanical). The library too got an extended new block. Placements: The outgoing CSE batch had a placement record of close to 100%. Most of them were offered PPOs on the basis of their performance during their internships (after the 3rd year). Placements: The placement is very good at NITK. Most of the students will get placed. Microsoft, Samsung, Oracle, Texas Instruments, Intuit, Morgan Stanely, Goldman Sachs etc. are the companies that visit NITK. From our batch, about 70% people got an internship. Placements: This word of mine is always true and it applies all the time for students who get into NITK, the placements are equivalent in getting a degree. Everyone gets into any one of the companies irrespective of your performance in academics. Companies like Google, Microsoft, DE Shaw etc. Come at day 1 and average placement is around 8 Lacs. It is a very good place to learn. Speaking from CSE perspective, there are groups like Web Club and IEEE where a lot of CS related activities happen so we don’t just learn the syllabus but a lot more from our peers and projects.
