NIT Rourkela offers MBA course in a full-time mode. The course is taught by the Department of Management at the institute. The total seat intake for MBA is 75. There is seat reservation available for MBA at NIT Calicut. As per the selection criteria for this course, the seats are filled based on a valid CAT score. BE/BTech with a minimum of 60% aggregate or 6.5 CGPA in a relevant branch of Engineering is the basic eligibility for M.Tech at NIT Calicut. SC/ST/PwD category candidates need a minimum of 55% aggregate to be eligible for the course. Candidates whose results are awaiting can also take the JEE Main exam. However, such students must have the class 12 pass certificate at the time of admission.
The institute offers two undergraduate courses, five postgraduate courses, and one doctoral course. The offered courses by NIT Calicut are as namely BTech, BArch, MTech, MSc, MBA, MPlan, MCA, and PhD. These courses are available in multiple specialisations, including Chemistry, Computer Science and Engineering, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, etc.
NIT Calicut has a seat intake of 75 for the full-time MSc course offered in three specialisations. The institute reserves 25 seats for each specialisation. In addition, the institute reserves 5% seats for PwD category candidates followed by norms of the Government of India.
As per unofficial sources, the total tuition fee of the five-year BArch course offered at NIT Calicut is INR 6.25 lakh. The hostel charges are up to INR 3.41 Lacs and a one-time fee payment of INR 31,500 is also required for admission. Candidates with a CAT percentile above 70 shall have a fair chance of getting a seat in an MBA at NIT Calicut. However, this is an expected percentile and hence may vary.
