Our college provides great placements, good infrastructure, and helpful faculty members.

Placements: Placements in the current year were great. Many students got internships at Microsoft. Many were placed in Amazon, Adobe, Flipkart, etc. The average salary package offered was around 13 LPA. Many students got internships in different companies. There are minor degrees also available for other students of the non-CS branch.

Infrastructure: I visited the college twice, and the infrastructure is great. The medical facilities are good. There is a bank which helps to get money without leaving college. The cafes are g...

The placements are decent, and the campus has a very good environment.

Placements: The placement percentage is about 75%. The highest package offered was 15 LPA last year, the average package is 6 LPA, and the lowest package is 4 LPA. The top recruiter was Trident. About 50% of students got internships. The placement stats of this college are quite attractive, as after CSE and ECE, the placements for textile are at peak.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our department is below average. The building of the textile department is very small and old, and the labs also need some attention. The...

Almost all teachers are good. The average salary package offered for ICE is 7-8 LPA.

Placements: I am a pre-final year student at NIT-J. About 60-65 students got placed out of 80 from the batch of 2021. The highest salary package offered by Oracle is 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Most of the students from the ICE department get placed in software and data analysis companies. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, Oracle, PayTm, Nagarro, Standard Chartered, Intuit, etc.

Infrastructure: NIT Jalandhar has a beautiful campus away from the hustle of the main city. Almost everyone can vouch for the well-kept campus. Departments are well-equipped with laboratories required for the curriculum. However, getting damaged lab equipment repaired is a huge task. In the time I spent here, I had to request our HOD many times to repair lab equipment, but I never saw it happening. However, it might be a single department's isolated case. Hostels were available in 1-seater and 3-seater. However...

Placements with coding are good, but without coding, placements are very poor.

Placements: Placements are good only with coding, but without coding, placements are not good. If you want placements without coding, then you have less chance to got placements. Most of the companies allow students who scored 7 CGPA over all semesters. The highest salary package offered is varying between 40 to 50 LPA.

Placements: Overall, placements are quite decent. For CS, IT and ECE, placements are excellent as many major companies visit here to recruit. For the rest of the branches also, placements are average, and core companies visit here in a less number. Overall, it is nice. For mechanical, in placements of batch 2016-2020, the average salary package offered was 6.18 LPA, and the placement percentage was 78.67%. Overall, it is a good college, and you will not regret joining this.

Placements: Placements are not the best but quite good compared to many colleges. Students are placed in giant tech companies as well as core companies related to the chemical. Placement drives are started at the beginning of the 7th semester, and many new companies are invited for placements every year. The training and placements cell takes care of this.

Infrastructure: Hostels are good but can be improved if the number of hostels gets increased. New Megha hostels have great facilities and accommodation. On the campus, there are many cafes and small eatable places like smackers, etc. The food served is quite good there if you are bored of eating mess food. The library is also huge, and you can get almost every book related to academics and some core literature. There is a dispensary on the campus where anyone can visit for a medical checkup and medicines if the...

Placements: Placements are mostly in the IT sector. Very few opportunities are available for the core placements. For internships, IT companies visit our college, and only 60 students got internship offers. Various top companies also visit the campus.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is at par with most of the premium engineering colleges. Labs are maintained properly, and the lab assistants are very helpful. The Wi-Fi facility is also very good, and 4 GB is allocated to each student through their college ID. Computer labs are equipped with the latest computers. The library is also good. Placements: Approximately 70% of the eligible candidates get placed. Some good mechanical and logistics companies come for recruitment in our departments like Hero Motto Corp, and Maruti Suzuki. Infrastructure: The course is about 80 % the same as mechanical with some production, planning and management concepts. There are facilities like LAN internet connectivity in hostel and labs with sufficient equipment and very good classrooms and library. There is a separate self-study corner on the campus.
