For 100% placement in all the branches and seniors are really very supportive.
Placements: The placement at NIT Jamshedpur is very good, it offers the students 100% placement in all branches. Scholarship are easily available in this college by various sources including the government, universities, private organisation and entities. The CSE and ME branches recorded the highest percentage of offers during summer internship 2023.
Infrastructure: In first year, for boys two seater room are available but for girls three seater room are available. But from second year gave one seater to boys but for girls same like first year. Mess food is not very good but it is okay. In a week 4-5 times chicken are available in menu. Also for PG students rented room are available in locality near college.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified, most of them have Masters or Ph.D. degrees and are knowledgeable. Some teachers are very helpful and good but some are bad. Course curriculum is essential to guide teachers in what to teach, how much depth of knowledge is needed for that grade, and a timeline to follow so the year will be completed. Semester exam are not much difficult CS ;some subjects are, but more or less easy.

An honest review of NIT Jamshedpur.
Placements: My branch is mechanical engineering and the total strength of our class is 114. Last year, placement in mechanical engineering was 98%; the highest package offered was 32 LPA; the lowest package offered was 6 LPA; and the average of mechanical engineering is 11 LPA.
Infrastructure: If I talk about infrastructure, then it is very good because the academic building is new and it was recently made. All the classrooms are equipped with air conditioning facilities. And if we talk about hostels, then they are very good; single rooms are given to each student and the food is also good.
Faculty: If I talk about the teachers at our college, then they are good but not that experienced, and their teaching is not up to par. But yes, the course curriculum is relevant enough to make students get ready for industries. The exams are not that easy; you will have too study in order too pass them. The pass percentage is 90%.
Other: I chose mechanical engineering because the branch of mechanical engineering in our college offers good placement and many good companies like PSU, Vedanta, and Tata Steel visit our campus. To improve my course, I think more practical advice should be given. The name of our college cultural fest is Cultfest, and sports fest is Urja.

Better placements than any other nits in this range.
Placements: 98% of students get placed. The highest package was 83 lakh, the average was 15 lakh, and the CSE was 26 lakh. Adobe, Amazon, Atlasssian, Flipkart, BNY, etc. About 40% of students got interns at BNY, Amazon, etc. SDE roles were offered. Off-campus placements also offered good.
Infrastructure: Facilities are not that good. The classroom is good. The library is old. The hostel facilities are not good. Food is okay. There are 3-4 canteens. Medical facilities are also good. Sports and games are also good. Infrastructure is not good. Almost every building is very old.
Faculty: Teachers are not helpful. Almost every professor is a Ph.D. holder. Teaching quality is good. The curriculum is not relevant. No, these don't make you industry-ready. Semester exams are easy in some semesters and tough in others. You can secure 8.5 cgpa easily in easy sem.
Other: I chose this course because of industry demand and placement. They should improve their course structure. They teach totally irrelevant things. Events are better. The surroundings are totally bad. For category students, there are many scholarships. And also for general three, there are some scholarships.

The top recruiting companies are HCC, DLfLA, and many others. 78% of the students selected for internships did well.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great. Classrooms are spacious. Several books are available in the library, and the food served in the canteen is very good at an affordable price. Sports such as indoor and outdoor can be played. The best college was cell-active with all.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, knowledgeable, and qualified. The teaching quality is great. The course curriculum is relevant. This college is affiliated with the government. A good faculty. The PASS criterion is 6 CGPA. They are ready for industry to solve industry problems.

The college is overall good and the placement rate makes it more likeable.
Placements: The placement at NIT Jamshedpur is very good; it offers the students 100% placement in all the branches. The highest placement comprises the 83.4 LPA given to the CSE, ECE, and EE students; the average CTC is 15.98 LPA+. Top recruiters are Amazon, Flipkart, etc. Almost most of the students got internships their, either in a summer internship or a 6-month internship.
Infrastructure: The campus has buildings dedicated to each event. It is a full Wi-Fi campus. The labs are big and consist of many pieces of equipment. The hostel is fine, with nice food and hygiene. The medical facility here is very good, and they provide proper medical need like ambulance, etc. The sports facility is also good; each hostel has its own gym and area to play sports and games.
Faculty: The faculty members are very good with experience and they are quite masters of their fields. The course curriculum is tough but the teachers makes it easy for the students to understand, and exams are held at a fixed time in the course year. The difficulty of the exam is good; it checks the understanding of the students in the course.
Other: I chose this college for its campus and infrastructure, and the faculty members are also very good. The many fests and events make the students busy in their college lives, helping them to sharpen their skills.
