If we compare everything then it is 6/10. Placements are decent and the infrastructure is too old.
Placements: Approximately 82% of students are placed in the year 2025. The highest package is 62.5 LPA and the lowest is 8 LPA, with an average of around 17 LPA. Companies like Google, Infosys, Microsoft, and Amazon visit regularly. Software development, information security, machine learning, and web and app development are the main roles offered to CSE students.
Infrastructure: Lecture halls at NIT Kkr are rated 3/10. They have smart boards, but the boards are very small. Professors still teach on blackboards in this modern era. Labs are rated 8/10. They are well organized and above average, with computers in use. Lighting and A/C are also good in labs. The library contains two sections. One section has A.C., but it closes at 5 p.m., which is inconvenient, and the other section does not have A.C. and is open 24 hours. The hostel infrastructure is below average, with first-year rooms being triple-seaters.
Faculty: Teachers in the Maths department are very helpful to students, but others, like the Physics department, do not seem well qualified. Students have to prepare on their own using YouTube or other platforms. 2. The course curriculum is very relevant, focusing only on courses that help with placements. 3. There are two midterms and one end-semester exam each semester. Midterms are quite tough, but end-sems seem easier to students. Students can easily achieve an 8+ CGPA.
Other: There are many clubs on campus that motivate students to enjoy campus life. There are two major festivals on campus. Also, there is a curfew for girls at 8:30 p.m., after which they cannot leave the hostel. Seniors are very supportive, and the campus is completely ragging-free.

Good Infrastructure and food, easy academics, decent placements, but not industry-ready.
Placements: Placement is good in NIT Kurukshetra but has decreased in recent years, but not as expected. Taking about electrical engineering placements 2024-25 batch the median package offered is 10 LPA-10.26 LPA. The minimum package is 5.90 LPA and the maximum package is 26.64 LPA. Out of 120 students 115 are eligible for placements and got 90 offers out of which 85 are placed with a placements percentage of 73.91%.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of college and hostels is very good in the first year and we have triple seater rooms that have enough space. All rooms are equipped with LAN and Wi-Fi is available but the network is limited to the mess, but LAN works properly. I was in hostel 2 Bhisma Bhawan. This hotel has very good food in quality as well as in taste. The hostel has 2 volleyball courts, 2 badminton courts, and has a lot of space for cricket and football.
Faculty: In the first year, some teachers are good and some are bad as in every college but are supportive and helpful. Taking about course curriculum, it is good but not industry-ready you have to learn skills of your own. Semester exams are easy and easy to score more than 9 CGPA. In 2nd semester 42/120 students got more than 9 SGPA, so academics is easy.
Other: Our fest Confluence is 4-day event that is very good, with the most fun day being day 4 in which Star Night takes place. You should enjoy it.

Dissatisfied with no dashing campus life of NIT Kurukshetra .
Placements: 67% 60 lac the highest, 20 lac avg, 8 lac the lowest FAANG companies Not known to me Back end developed, AI Developed, Interns Web Assistant Nothing to tell more about this, it is even hard as competition is very high to be placed, seen people coming out of placement cell disappoint .
Infrastructure: Libraries, labs and classrooms are above average, benches are relatively holder and labs have some failed air conditioning, Hostel washrooms are hygienic and stinky, Hostel mess food is below avg these things are for H6 Hostel, Rooms are small too, Canteen food feels common which doesn't taste that good medical facilities, sports and games are excellent, even NIT Kurukshetra have their own stadium like big field for sports enthusiasts.
Faculty: Teachers are fairly qualified but their teaching quality is poor This course just only make people work fairly fine in companies, most of the things should be learnt on their own Semester exams are very hard and have 60% for passing exam, but some proof give race marks too.
Other: I chose this course because I got it in my merit? I want nothing to be improved in course but the college should be improved, Hostel facilities and classroom facilities, proper air conditioning, Fest should atleast be held 3 times a year, should outstand private colleges in that term.

It is one of the best options for your future to rise to great heights.
Placements: Nearly 70% of the students from my course are placed. The highest is 45 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average package is 12 LPA. Top recruiters include Microsoft, Suzuki, TCS, and NBA. Roughly 55% of the students are offered internships in companies related to power systems, HCL, Microsoft, and more. The top roles offered are manager and team leader.
Infrastructure: Our college has fully AC classrooms with well-furnished wooden benches. The library offers a peaceful environment for studying, complete with coolers and proper ventilation. The labs, however, have some instruments that aren't working properly, but overall, the lab is equipped with most of the required equipment. The hostel is fantastic due to its joyful environment. Each room consists of a bed, table, and almirah for every student. The quality of food in the mess is average, with some dishes being of excellent quality and others being of very low taste. Medical facilities are available 24/7, including ambulance service. Nearly all sports are available.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful, cooperative, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is up to the mark. The course is relevant for students to excel in any industry. The semester exams are of a moderate level, and the pass percentage is 95%. A college education is sufficient for both personal and professional growth.

Truth of NIT, Kurukshetra.
Placements: The placement percentage of college is very good. About 91% of CSE and overall it is about 80%. The highest package is about 50-60 LPA. The average salary for CSE is 19 LPA. The lowest salary is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Google, JP Morgen, and Morgan Stanley. All students get internships in CSE and companies are Microsoft, IBM, and Sun Pharma.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. There is a big sports complex where you can play various outdoor games like cricket, football, basketball, etc. The computer labs are also good. But some lab's computer generation is very old like 7 Gen. The library is open 24X7 for boys and for girls, it is till 8:30 PM. The facilities of the hostel are good. The food is also decent and you can go to the health center if you are ill and if you are not able to walk ambulance can also come.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching skill is also very good. You can contact them after college. The course curriculum is mostly relevant. It also makes students ready for industry. The difficulty of the semester exam is from medium to difficult. The passing percentage is about 95%.
Other: I chose CSE because it is the top branch of any engineering college. The good thing about this course is that it includes various practical things that help in real life. To improve the course they can remove subjects like engineering practice from the first semester because it does not help students to improve skills.

It is good as the greenery is surrounded by the college.
Placements: A maximum percentage of students get passed from this college. The highest package is 68 LPA, and it also offers many other packages. Tata and some companies hire students for placements. The main role of the ECE branch is supervisors, and also some go to the software side like technical support.
Infrastructure: The college provides LAN with unlimited data. Wi-Fi is not available here. Classrooms are daily cleaned by workers. The library is also available. The food is nice.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, although we use YouTube to study. They will explain nicely. All subjects are interesting to students. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are very difficult sometimes. The pass percentage is 40%. Faculty members are strict during exams. Faculty members are very nice. They will explain all doubts, and we can also feel free to ask doubts.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?
A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2025 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.
