Overall, it is the best college for the Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering course.
Placements: The highest salary of 27 LPA is offered by Microsoft. About 77% of students get placed. A few of them earn more than 17 LPA. Most students join institutions offering salaries ranging from 11 LPA to 23 LPA. All students who get placed through mass recruitment get salary packages ranging from 3 LPA to 7 LPA. The top recruiters are Google, Amazon, Microsoft, etc. The top roles offered are Software Engineer, IT Consultant, etc. 70% of students get internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: Our college is well-equipped for students. There are two playgrounds at an elevated level. Well-equipped classrooms are also available. There is an impressive library, including a digital library, for over 500 students use at the same time. Our college offers free Wi-Fi facility to students. Our college has indoor and outdoor gyms and sports halls. The college cafeteria adds beauty to the campus.

Wonderful campus life, hardworking teachers but reluctant placement cell about masters students.
Placements: About 70% of students are placed, mostly engineering students in various industries like IT sector, electronics, and some PSU sectors. The average salary is 5 LPA. Top companies like BPCL and L&T take part in the placement drive, but it lacks opportunities for M.Sc students.
Infrastructure: Library is good with books covering all the courses but less number of books which leads to less holding time for books. The library is good and Wi-Fi facility in college is good. Sometimes creates trouble in the hostel. The mess food is not upto the mark but we can't expect more from a hostel.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and encourage students. They are quite knowledgeable and they themselves study a lot. They are dedicated to their research study and work which leads to good exposure for students doing M.Sc and Ph.D. under their supervision. Semester exams are not very difficult and regular study for good marks is not a big deal.

Overall, it is an average college.
Placements: At NIT Meghalaya there are no good placements. In electronics and communication engineering the scope of placements is less than other branches. There are no companies in electronics and communication engineering that come for placements. But you can do better in off-campus placements.
Infrastructure: Lab, campus, and hostel have Wi-Fi. But the centralization of Wi-Fi on campus is still not completed. The process is going on. About food, it is like okay, sometimes not but okay anyways. It will upgrade as time goes. Library is also not that kind of like IITs and NITs have, but okay.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and the quality is also good. The exams are not much difficult like IITs. You can easily pass if you study well. Exams like mid-term 50 marks, end-term 100 marks, 2 class tests of 15 marks each, and 2 assignments 10 marks each.
Other: I got this course from CSAB counseling.

I am extremely happy after getting admission to this prestigious and esteemed university.
Placements: Approximately 80% of students get placed in my college. The highest package offered is 32 LPA, and the average package is 12 LPA. The lowest package is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Wipro, TCS, and Deloitte visit the college for placements. 95% of students got internships from my course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is super clean and hygienic. Rooms in my hostel are fully furnished and super clean. The food quality is good. There is no repetition of food. The mess and canteen area is also clean. There are several sports facilities in my college including indoor and outdoor games.
Faculty: Teachers and professors in my college are super helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They have good knowledge of their particular subject. The teaching quality is also very good. The course curriculum is so much related to the industry requirements, which makes students unveil their talent in this competitive industry.
Other: I chose this course because I am very much interested in building things and searching for things. Several fests and small events are organised in my college. The campus crowd is not too much as we have a very big campus.

Between the mountains with supportive faculty members.
Placements: The seats for M.Sc has increased to 20 students. We have supporting faculty members who encourage us in every aspect from career guidance to NET GATE. Edtech companies like Physics Wallah, Allen, etc., are engaged in hiring M.Sc students
Infrastructure: The whole campus and hostel have Wi-Fi facilities available 24/7 which provides high internet speed. There is a library and also an e-library with Wi-Fi and you can access the computers and do your work. Hostel rooms are better than expected. The mess food is above average.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified from prestigious institutes. They are also very supportive and kind towards the students. The course is very much similar to NET GATE syllabus. So I can prepare for both while studying for college. College exams are decent, almost everyone clear the paper.
Other: I had an interest in it so I selected the course based on my JAM score. If they could reduce the fee for 2nd semester onward would be better. A beautiful college located in the mountains and everyone dreams of studying. I love this place and college.

Dissatisfied by the food in the mess & transportation facilities, placements are not up to the mark.
Placements: 70 percentage of the students were placed. In NIT Meghalaya, the highest package was 19.45 Lacs per annum, the lowest was 6 Lacs per annum, and the average was 8 Lacs per annum. Top companies like BPCL, HPCL, Vedanta, and Tata do visit for placements. 90 percentage of students get internships from respective companies. Manufacturing engineer, thermal engineer, and designer roles are offered in our course.
Infrastructure: Campus shifting will take place this December as it’s confirmed officially now. Wi-Fi is good, labs and classrooms are so nice in the permanent campus. Hostel rooms in our new campus are nice. The library is too small but enough for the students count here. Food is bad, and sports and games are fine.
Faculty: Faculty are helpful, but not everyone is knowledgeable. The teaching quality is not up to the mark; it’s not enough for higher studies entrance examinations. No, they won’t give you everything, and the course curriculum doesn’t include everything from GATE and all entrance examinations. Semester exams are of medium level, and the pass percentage is 90 percent. They mostly give 60 percent from the teaching lectures and modules.
Other: You can get central jobs, PSUs, and core jobs from this course. Real-time experience would be nice. A fest happens for every sem, but the crowd is too less.
