    On Highlights
Q:   Is NIT Narula Institute of Technology good for B.Tech in CSE?
    A:

It seems that NIT Narula Institute of Technology provides students pursuing a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) with an unequal experience. Renowned firms like Microsoft, Amazon, and Juspay come to recruit and provide competitive salary packages up to 51 LPA off-campus; the college has a respectable placement record. Concerns around disparate placement rates and students choosing to forego college internships in favor of greater prospects elsewhere are present while this is happening. The campus has a number of sports facilities, immaculate classrooms, and Wi-Fi, however the catered food's quality and quantity need to be enhanced. Although teachers emphasize completing the curriculum on time and possess knowledge, students' assessments of how consistently they are taught vary.

Q:   How are placements for B.Tech in CSE at NIT Narula Institute of Technology?
    A:

NIT Narula Institute of Technology has a strong placement record for B.Tech in CSE. The placement rate is generally 50-60% with an average package of INR 5-6 LPA and the highest package of around INR 27 LPA in the top companies like Amazon, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant, IBM, and Accenture.

It is an average college and an average college life.
Placements: An average college where more than half of the students get placed, but mostly with an average package. If you want a good salary, you have to work hard and try to get it from outside the campus. The same goes for internships. You need to put in extra effort and secure them off-campus. Building strong skills and networking early can significantly improve your chances.
Infrastructure: The college campus has a free Wi-Fi facility. The infrastructure is average. You can't get a hostel inside the campus; it is located outside but managed by the college faculty. Free Wi-Fi is also available in the hostel. The food is just okay, not very good. Overall, the campus provides the basic necessities, but there is room for improvement in living conditions and facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are okay, like average, not top notch, most of the teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable in their respective subjects. They are supportive when it comes to clearing doubts. The course curriculum is moderately relevant. It covers the basic foundation needed in the industry. Semester exams are not very difficult if you attend classes regularly and study consistently. Questions are mostly based on classroom lectures and past papers. The pass percentage is quite high, usually around 85-90%, so it's manageable for most students.
Other: The best thing about the campus is that if you're surrounded by competitive and motivated students, you naturally grow and improve yourself. Although they claim to have a gym on the campus, it's either not available for students or remains closed most of the time. Even the student lift is often out of service, which can be convenient. On the brighter side, the college organizes enjoyable fests, offers scholarships, and provides various extracurricular activities you can participate in. With the right mindset and involvement, you can make the most of what the campus offers despite its limitations.

This college can be considered if you want to focus on off-campus. Average on-campus placements.
Placements: As I have not completed my course yet, I cannot give a full review. However, looking at the senior placements, they are considered below average. The highest package was 65 LPA from Amazon, and companies like Deloitte and Accenture do visit our college. According to the college, 80% of students are placed. Students should focus on off-campus placements.
Infrastructure: The facilities inside the college are good, but the campus is not that large. There are AC labs, a library with nice seating arrangements, and spacious three separate rooms for studying. The classrooms are also roomy. Since I do not reside in the hostel, I cannot comment on it specifically. However, friends mentioned that student safety is maintained, and the quality of food is pretty decent.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are very helpful and supportive, with a lot of teaching experience. They provide all the necessary notes through online PDFs before exams for study purposes. Yes, this helps make students industry-ready. The difficulty level of semester exams is above average; they are pretty tough but not impossible to pass. The pass percentage is above 90%.
Other: I chose this course because of future job opportunities.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, good placements infrastructure is not that bad.
Placements: TCS, Cognizant, and Capgemini are the IT companies that come to our campus for placements. Placements are good, not bad. One needs to work hard on their skills to get job offers. The highest package this year in ECE is 27 LPA off campus, and on campus, it is 12 LPA till now. Very few students get internships from this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. I am not aware of the hostel facilities as I am not a hosteler. But, classrooms get suffocated due to extreme heat as they do not have AC. The library also does not have AC. The college does have a Wi-Fi connection, but it is not that stable.
Faculty: Faculty members are not that good. Some are good, while others are not much good. We have to get 40% to pass the exam. One can get good scores easily if they study properly. Papers are not that difficult. One needs to be thorough with their syllabus and put in a little bit of hard work to get good results. Faculty members, if changed, can be better and more beneficial for the students. Teachers should be more serious about completing the syllabus before the semester and explain properly to students so that they don’t need private tutors. As an ECE student, one can apply for both IT and core sectors.

The college has average faculty members and a good curriculum.
Placements: Moreover, the news is good. The past 2 years have broken all records for placements. The college got accredited by NAAC and is now in the top college list. Almost 70% of students are informed about placements. The average package is 5 Lacs. The highest package last year was around 25 Lacs. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, and Capgemini.
Infrastructure: The college has average infrastructure. The campus is not very large, but the staff are good. Hostel facilities, Wi-Fi, etc., are not sufficient. There is a need for better cleanliness and good service. Wi-Fi is very poor; I don't know why it is even there—absolutely zero speed. Food quality is very low. The college canteen doesn’t offer enough healthy food options; they mainly serve fast food. Sports are quite frequent, with tournaments organized regularly
Faculty: The overall college is good. Curriculum is good for students but faculty needs to be easy and teach students with efficiency. Time table should be flexible. The timetables I have faced in the past 2 semesters are very bad. Questions are moderate. You can do well with the instructions the teacher gives. Consistency is needed and there is too much pressure.

College has qualified teachers who can guide students. The infrastructure is really good.
Placements: There are several students from several states who take admission to this college. The highest package offered this year (2025) is 42 LPA from the CSE department. Top recruiting company is Accenture, mainly for the CSE department as well as others. Students can get internships easily.
Infrastructure: High-speed Wi-Fi is available at the college. The classroom and library are neat and clean, as well as the labs are too good. There is a big playground for outdoor games and also facilities for indoor games. The cafeteria is too good and students can also chill out there.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Before every semester college take two mock tests to improve the knowledge of students. It is really helpful for us. Semester exams are not that difficult, just you have to concentrate on the class lectures and real properly, you can easily get a good score.
Other: I chose B.Tech in computer science and engineering course. I like this course so much, and I wish that I could improve myself.

Good college with a very small campus, but don't keep your expectations high!
Placements: Placements in my college are pretty decent, given the fact that it's a tier 3 college. Companies like JusPay, Amazon, etc. have come to our college in 2023 for placements, and JusPay actually hired 6-7 people with a whopping package of 20 LPA. The current average package of the CSE department for the year 2023 is 6 LPA. The highest package offered was 28 LPA, which was offered to 3 students and from JusPay only. Overall, about 80% of students got placed from the batch that passed out in the year 2023.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are not at all up to the mark, and most students here choose to stay outside the hostel and college. We prefer PGs, private hostels, and at times rent a flat in sharing. However, there are some students who choose to stay in the hostel, but the hostel is pretty much away from the college (boys' hostel) and not even on campus.
Faculty: Not all teachers, but some are really supportive and helpful. The teaching quality again is good only for some teachers. You need to repeatedly keep reminding most of the teachers that they need to teach in Hindi/English, as they often switch to Bengali while teaching. The semester exams are not at all tough and are easy to pass/score good marks in by simply referring to past year papers. The course curriculum is relevant only after the 1st year.
Other: The events and fests are just amazing when it's that time of the year again. They call big celebrities like Kartik Aaryan, Sara Ali Khan, etc., on campus for movie promotions and events. However, the overall crowd is not that good here, but still, you will be able to find good people here with a progressive mindset.
