Good placements, skilled faculty, and a well-equipped campus.
Placements: Around 85-90% of students were placed. The highest package was 30 LPA (Amazon), the lowest was 3.5 LPA, and the average package was 5-6 LPA. Top recruiters included Amazon, TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, HCL, and Wipro. Around 70-75% of students secured internships at companies like TCS iON, Deloitte, and Microsoft (virtual). Common roles offered were Software Developer, Data Analyst, and Full Stack Developer. The course focuses on industry-relevant skills and offers good placement support, making students job-ready.
Infrastructure: The Computer Science and Engineering department at Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology (NIET) offers modern classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, advanced labs with the latest systems, and a well-stocked digital library. Hostel facilities are well-maintained with 24/7 security, Wi-Fi, and clean rooms. The mess provides hygienic vegetarian food with a rotating menu, and multiple canteens offer diverse cuisines. Medical facilities include an on-campus health center with ambulance service. Sports facilities are excellent, featuring grounds and courts for cricket, football, basketball, and other sports. NIET provides a balanced environment that focuses on academics, comfort, and overall student development through high-quality infrastructure and student-friendly amenities.
Faculty: The faculty at NIET is well-qualified, supportive, and knowledgeable, with many holding M.Teach or Ph.D. degrees. They are approachable and encourage practical learning. The teaching quality is good, with a blend of theoretical and hands-on exposure. The B.Teach CSE curriculum is regularly updated and includes trending technologies like AI, Data Science, and Cloud Computing, making students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult but manageable with regular study. Internal assessment and assignments help in understanding core concepts. The overall pass percentage remains high, around 85-90%, reflecting the supportive academic environment and focus on student success.
Other: I belong to the 2021-2025 B.Tech (CSE) batch at NIET. I chose this course due to my interest in technology and coding. The best parts are industry-focused labs, updated curriculum, and strong placement support. However, more industry-level project exposure could improve it. The campus hosts vibrant fests like Techno-Cultural Fest and hackathons. The crowd is friendly and diverse. NIET is well-connected to the metro and transport. The surroundings are safe with eateries and hostels nearby. Scholarships are offered based on merit and financial background. Extracurricular clubs for music, dance, sports, and teaching keep the student life engaging and well-rounded.

"Good placements but average infrastructure and low sports focus. ".
Placements: The placement is quite decent here, especially for CS-related branches. Around 80-90% of students get placed with an average package of 5-6 LPA. If you are consistent with coding and have a good resume, you can easily grab good roles and internships too.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is okay-ish. Labs and Wi-Fi are available, but classrooms don't have proper AC and sometimes feel congested. The hostel is manageable, food is average in the mess. College doesn't focus much on sports and games. The medical facility is there but not very active.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive and well-qualified in my course (CSBS). Most teachers are helpful and explain concepts clearly. The curriculum is updated and aligned with industry needs, especially with a mix of CS and business subjects. Semester exams are moderate? Not too hard if you study regularly. The pass percentage is around 90%.

Not satisfied with the faculty but the placements are decent.
Placements: Around 2700 placements were offered in NIET, and 300+ companies offered campus placement, with 58 LPA as the highest package offered. In CSE, the average package is around 6 LPA, which is very decent for a private college, and the lowest package is 4 LPA. The top recruiters were Amazon, Deloitte, Capgemini, Infosys, etc. An internship is also provided by the college, according to some seniors, but there is not much data available about internships. The top roles offered in CSE are business analyst, system engineer, software developer, network engineer, etc. It is a decent college with decent placement, but in the end, you would have to do the hard work in order to get a good placement.
Infrastructure: The facilities are not up to expectation and do not justify the price of college feels. There is no Wi-Fi for students. Classrooms and labs don't have AC. The hostel is very good here with all facilities. The warden in the hostel is also very nice and polite.
Faculty: Some teachers are good, some are bad, but all of them are helpful, and all of them are highly qualified. The semester exams here are not very difficult; one can pass by 1 week of study before the exam. There are classes of soft skills that are held four times a week, known as ABC classes. These classes teach students about communication and it's importance, so the course definitely makes students industry-ready, as the college does not just focus on academics but on every single aspect.
Other: I am deeply interested in computer science; that is why I chose this branch. The frequency of coding classes should be increased. Events and fests are held at the right time, and they are very enjoyable. The campus crowd is average; some people are friendly and some are rude too.

Placements: Around 65%-75% of eligible students got placed. Some opt for higher studies or government exams, so the percentage varies. The highest Package is around 10 LPA-12 LPA. The average package is typically 3.5 LPA-4.5 LPA. The lowest package is around 2.4 LPA-3 LPA. Key recruiters are Tata Technologies, Hyundai Mobis, Hero MotoCorp, JBM Group, Byju's, and TCS (for non-core roles).
Infrastructure: NIET's mechanical engineering department offers well-equipped labs, SMART classrooms, Wi-Fi, and a large library. Hostels are clean with basic amenities. Mess food is average but hygienic. The canteen offers a better variety. Medical facilities are available on campus. Sports grounds support cricket, football, and indoor games like table tennis and chess.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive, well-qualified, and explain concepts clearly. The curriculum is decent but needs extra effort through internships or certification to be industry-ready. Semester exams aren't too tough if you stay consistent. Most students pass comfortably, with around 85%-90% success. Overall, it's manageable with the right mindset and guidance.
Other: NIET hosts annual tech and cultural fests like Avvalancha and Techspardha. The crowd is diverse and lively. The campus is well-connected to the Noida Metro. NIET is average college in Greater Noida.
Placements: NIET has good placement records, and they give actual placements. NIET has ties with many companies like TCS, Wipro, etc. When you make a little effort, you can gain a placement, and their placement ratio is also good, and we have to study for the placement.
Infrastructure: The hostel is not bad, but only the AC rooms are good. One bad thing in the hostel is that the lift doesn't work properly, many times, students get stuck in it. The building is also old, and they haven't renovated the rooms or the building. There are many issues students face in the hostel, like the gate being closed sharply at 6 o'clock.
Faculty: The faculty at NIET is good, and I like their teaching methods. They make efforts to help students and try to explain in a better way. There is one teacher who gives punishments and beats students during their lecture if they haven't learnt their homework.
