Decent college for B.Tech.
Placements: I am a student at NIET in IT. It is a good college that comes under AKTU and gives decent placements. The highest package is 51 LPA at Microsoft. The average package is 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Microsoft, Deloitte, Capgemini, and Infosys.
Infrastructure: It has 2 campuses (one is the main campus and the other is the campus for 1st-year students to prevent them from ragging). Classrooms do not have AC, but labs do. The canteen has a nice food range and quality. Hostels are very strict as they won’t let you roam outside after 7 pm.
Faculty: Teachers are good at teaching and help us whenever needed. As it is an autonomous college, the exam level is moderate, and the exam takes place in the college itself. It also has a separate workshop for programming, in which 10-20 days are dedicated to programming itself.

NIET college is an average college in greater noida.
Placements: NIET has good placement records and they provide actual placements. NIET has tie-ups with many companies like TCS, Wipro, etc. When you make a little effort, you can gain placement, and their placement ratio is also good. They also provide support to study for placements.
Infrastructure: College hostel is not B. Ed, but only the AC rooms are good in the hostel. One B.Ed issue in the hostel is that the lift is not working properly; many times, students get stuck in the lift. Their building is also old, and they do not renovate their rooms and buildings. Many types of problems are faced in the hostel like the gate being closed sharply at 6 o’clock.
Faculty: NIET faculty is also good, and I also like NIET faculty’s teaching methods. They make efforts for students and try to explain in a better way. One of the teachers gave punishment and also beat students in their lectures when students did not learn their homework.

It has strong placements & infrastructure with supportive faculty, but needs improvement.
Placements: Almost 90% of the students are placed in college. The highest salary package offered is 30 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Google and Microsoft.
Infrastructure: In our department, Wi-Fi access is provided 24/7 throughout the building, ensuring that students can access online resources and conduct research seamlessly. Labs are well-equipped, and computer labs have high-end systems available. Labs are updated regularly with the latest software
Faculty: All the teachers are approachable and supportive. They are willing to clear doubts and provide extra guidance even after regular class hours. Most faculty members hold advanced degrees in their respective fields. They have strong academic backgrounds making them well-qualified.

Autonomous benefits offset. Average placements and infrastructure at my college.
Placements: Around 50-60% of students get placed, with top recruiters like TCS, Capgemini, and Wipro. The highest package ranges between 15 LPA - 20 LPA, while the lowest is around 4 LPA - 5 LPA. Only 30-40% of students secure internships in decent companies.
Infrastructure: The college has well-equipped labs, so students don't face any issues. Wi-Fi is available in both the college and hostel. There are two libraries, providing good study resources. However, hostel facilities are not very good. The food quality in the mess is average. Basic medical and sports facilities are available. The facilities and infrastructure are average, but being autonomous offers some flexibility.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified and teach us well, but the management is not good. They deliberately don't give good marks to students. The curriculum is decent but not entirely industry-oriented. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and the pass percentage is average. For backlogs, the college charges Rs 2100 per paper, which is quite high.
