Review about RVITM College, Bengaluru.
Placements: 60% of students get average placements. The top recruiting company is JP Morgan. An average number of students get placed successfully. Philips, PhonePe, Oracle, and Cisco also visit our campus. Other courses offered are Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not really good. It is only a one-building college with not enough lifts and limited facilities. The hostel is not worth the money you pay, we even moved out after one year. The fee increase every two years. The food is not that great, and there is a lot of favoritism towards South Indian students.
Faculty: Most teachers are helpful, while some are just okayish. But, they are knowledgeable and willing to help if you have any queries. The semester exams are not very difficult, and the course is relevant to the branch. The teaching quality is good, but there is favoritism and bias from some teachers towards South Indian students.
Other: I get this course in this college, which is the best option compared to any other college. I hope the infrastructure and campus life become more fun. Also, the hostel is not on campus, it's located outside. The campus is very small. Events and fests are a waste of time here and are poorly handled.

I am absolutely dissatisfied with it. It provided good placements for the 2021-2024 batch.
Placements: I am from the 2021-2024 batch. Students who get placed are above 50%. Top courses are BBA, B.Com, BAC, and MS. The salary offered in BBA is Rs. 49,000 per month and in B.Com, it is Rs. 51,000 per month. The highest package is offered to students.
Infrastructure: Library, classrooms, labs, and Wi-Fi are available. The hostel is not there. The quality of facilities is not much. Sports and games are there. Food is good, and it provides quality food. Facilities available for students are good. There is a junior college and a seniors college 2 kilometers away. There is AC and a projector in classrooms. There is a lift also.
Faculty: It has very good teaching. Exams are hard. They make students industry-ready. Teachers are knowledgeable and helpful. Students will pass with good marks and a good percentage.

Faculty is good, bad placements for 2025, campus crowd is good.
Placements: Placements began in the month of August and less than 35 students have been placed out of 120. We were told it is due to bad economy and politics. The highest package was 24 LPA and the lowest has been 4 LPA as of now. Average is 8 LPA. Companies like Oracle, Accenture, PhonePe, Cognizant, Athena, Honeywell, etc. have come. Roles offered were mainly software engineer, software developer, and IT trainee.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available throughout the college but it's not as strong. Labs are well maintained and equipped with necessary equipment. Library is good with access to many academic books. There's a good number of classrooms to accommodate all the students with a smart board along with a normal chalk board. There's also a lecture recording facility where recorded lectures are posted on the app for students to access throughout the semester. There's a canteen in the basement which is okay overall. Serves all kinds of food like idli, dosa, fried rice, chats, Gobi Manchurian, etc. There's a small basketball court and a medium-sized field for football, cricket, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, with the majority holding PhDs. Also, most teachers have published papers in journals and conferences. They are generally helpful and nice. The curriculum is VTU-based. Mostly it is good, however some subjects are added that are not useful for engineering students, like Biology. There are 3 internal exams per semester called CIE for 50 marks, which are easy generally. Final exam, i.e., SEE, is also generally easy, and model papers are provided. Length matters more than content in exams. Passing marks in SEE are 35/100, whereas in CIE it's 18/50.
Other: There are a lot of extracurricular activities conducted with respect to sports and clubs. Many clubs from different departments are there to join that conduct regular workshops. Fest is usually in the month of August and called Sambhram. Students from different colleges participate in a 2-day-long event. Campus crowd is good. Everyone is generally friendly, there's no ragging.

A review of the college, faculty members, and environment in which I have completed my 2 years.
Placements: The number of students who got placed from our course is 80% and above, still, some seniors are getting placed and the percentage is increasing. The highest salary package offered is around 35 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is around 10 LPA. Few top recruiting companies are Swiggy, PhonePe, TCS, etc. I don't have any idea about internships but recently, our batch of students got placed in a big company. However, the interview was tough so fewer were recruited.
Infrastructure: Department has all facilities for students to excel and all books which are required for the course and also for extra topics which student wants to learn more about. Since I am not living in the hostel, I can't say much about it, but my friends say it is okay to stay there.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive and are highly qualified. Most of faculty members have Ph.D. qualifications. They support students in participating in extracurricular activities as well as in hackathons and other college events. They even help students in getting internships.
Other: I chose Computer Science and Engineering, since it is trending and most companies are referring to this itself.

Pretty satisfactory with the peaceful atmosphere.
Placements: All of the students in my batch are yet to attend placements. The highest package was 21 lacs per annum in my course. The average is 6 lacs per annum in my course. Almost 90 percent of the students get internships at companies like Google and Wipro.
Infrastructure: The students of RVITM are provided with good Wi-Fi with relatively high speeds. The canteen is located in the basement. It has a pretty big eating area and provides tables for the consumers. The menu has a variety of foods. Apart from the normal foods, many snacks are also sold.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified individuals with a thorough understanding of the subject. They are very helpful. Apart from the main curriculum, the students are also taught different things, like how to work with Arduino. There are also many clubs that help students develop skills.

Average placements with below average college life, join if you are interested in RV brand.
Placements: RVITM placements are combined with RV College of Engineering. Don't expect huge packages: 60-70% placement percentage with an average package of 8-9 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Qualcomm, Philips, PhonePe, Oracle, and Amazon. The highest package is 29 LPA, the lowest 2.5 LPA. Top roles offered are Hardware Engineer, Software Engineer, and Software Intern.
Infrastructure: There is only one single building; no big campus. Classrooms and labs are good. There is a library, but resources are limited. Wi-Fi in college is poor. Hostel rooms are good, but the fee is high, and only vegetarian food is served. There are no big grounds to play on, just a cricket turf and basketball court.
Faculty: Teaching is good; all teachers are M.Tech or Ph.D. holders. The maximum number of teachers are qualified from VTU University. Teaching quality is okay. The course curriculum is not up-to-date, but that's not a big problem. Semester exams are difficult; it's hard to score above 9, and above 7.5 is considered good.
Other: There are no college fests or sports events. There are some clubs, that's it.
